Seton Hall Pirates Golf: Sweetens Cove Showdown

0:00On March 23rd, the Seton Hall Pirates men's golf team heads to the sweetens' cove intercollegiate for three matches over three days, kicking off Monday against Bowling Green. The lineup includes junior Ilashah, seniors David Lally and George Fricker, sophomores Will Hennessey and Luke Nolan, plus freshman Blake Goodnight. Coming off a strong showing at the Loyola intercollegiate last month, senior Jack Bosworth fired a career-best five under par 67 in the final. Round to help the team tie for eighth at ten under par. sophomore Will Hennessey led the pirates there, tying for 30th with two under par 214. Meanwhile, at the Bannon-Dune's championship earlier in March, sophomore Luke Nolan dazzled with a hole in one and a two under par 69 to close. Lifting the team to ninth place, Hennessey again shown as an individual, tying for 18th at one under par 212. The pirates returned to sweetens' cove where they shared the title last year after tying Miami Ohio in the championship match.
