Originally set for September 11th, 2026, it will now hit theaters on October 16th, 2026. Directed by Georgia Oakley and written by Diana Reed, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Esme Creed, Miles, Katriona, Balfe, George, Makai, Fiona Shaw, producers Tim Bevin and Eric Foner from working title films are behind it, along with others. This fresh take follows the Dashwood Sisters and their mother as they navigate life after losing their family home. At the box office, it will go head-to-head with Street Fighter and Will Fall. Fans may remember the 1995 version directed by Ang Lee, with Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, and Hugh Grant. That one earned a near-perfect score in Ron Tomatoes and remains a classic.
