I'm Ross Levittan, alongside Brandon Pillar today, is Friday, March 6th, and Pilsie. Welcome to the Trade Deadline Day. It's going to be good, Aldoaks. The insiders at TSN got to be a little worried that the GMs used up all the good trades a day before, as even just moments ago, we saw more deals trickling in from all across

2:10the league. Maybe this is just teams making more room to make more moves. Let's go with that, including the Ottawa Senators, but this is fascinating. Every year, Trade Deadline, the drama, the excitement, the anticipation, right down to the wire. You never know what's going to happen. And after Steve Stales was steady in his first deadline with Ottawa, only moving Vladimir Tarasenko for a third and conditional fourth, the condition was met. The Panthers had to win the cup. So they had an extra third this year, but you look at what he did last year. He set the bar pretty high for himself, the way Dylan Cousins is playing right now. We'll talk more about Deadline later because Cousins leads us perfectly into tonight's game where he scores the game winning goal in his 82nd game as an Ottawa Senator. He's played exactly a full season, 26 goals, Pilsie. And this one tonight was like so many others. He finds his lane to shoot. He was wide open and he is a sniper when he has time in space.

3:11Yeah, and that was a fat, a goal you could tell from his celebration. He knew the sense needed to find a way to get that. And when you're all alone like that, you got to finish an oh man. Did he ever bury that one? That's his 12th power play goal of the year. Only 10 goals of 22, not scored on the power play for Dylan Cousins. But it's moments like that where it's important. I don't care whether it's man-to-vanish or handed, even strength, power play doesn't matter. You got to score when you get chances like that. And when it's a tight game, even though the Ottawa Senators were dominating, Devon Cooley got to tip your cap to him. He was having one heck of a night, but you're not going to stop Dylan Cousins on a shot like that. No, and you just aren't. It's only about our time for Tim Stutz as well when he's going like he is tonight. And his empty neck goal was the most well-deserved one I've seen a long time. Yeah, I mean, you could tell Tim he was like, oh, I would have liked to get one on a goalie, but I'll take that one because they needed to ice that because the flames were starting

4:11to put a bit of pressure on as well. And yeah, I don't know if they would have gone another one past Cooley. No, he was great tonight. And look, that's been the story all year for him. He puts up fantastic performances and doesn't get goal support. But you got to give Linus all our credit in Ottawa's crease. He was awesome in tonight's game. Yeah, and another night where he doesn't have to do much, but Ross one goal on 20 shots. That's a 950 save percentage. Like that's that's solid work. There was long stretches of time in the second and third period where Linus all Mark did not face any shots, but he stayed in the game and he shut the door after that first goal. So this is what we asked of Linus all Mark. Again, this is even better than what we've asked. And now you're looking at his record recently is very good. I mean, in the 80 and three. Yeah, 80 and three in what's that last 11 games? He's 18, eight and seven on the season.

5:12So he's finding ways to win and get points for this team. And the centers are going to need him to continue doing that all the way throughout the rest of this season. Quick turnaround from post cast to podcast. And we could have more to come of live reaction if and when Steve Steyos does moves at any point today. But Pillsy, what we didn't talk about in the post cast was the big picture of tonight. The Ottawa Senators win, which is fantastic. But to double triple quadruple down, the broons lose in regulation. The flyers lose in regulation. The penguins lose in regulation and just for good measure, the least losing regulation as well. You can even throw the New York Islanders in there as well. The East first West matchups finally went the West way with Utah getting a win with L.A. getting a win as well. It was just a national obviously. So this is as perfect of a night as we've seen in a long time on the Edittown scoreboard. It feels so good Ross and it could not have come at a better time.

6:15We talked about the point swing and how if the sends win in the Bruins lose, what that looks like, or the scary thoughts of what happens if the sends lost this game and the Bruins won this one, you're looking at double the points swing from four to eight if that scenario happens. But we don't even have to worry about that. Ross, I guess we'll never know what we would feel like if that happens because we don't have to deal with it. The sends are just four points back and it's a regulation win, which I emphasize was important. The sends just two regulation wins behind the Boston Bruins. So if there's a tie breaker, you want that in your back pocket to at least close that gap there. You need to at least, you need to at least get within striking distance in the next couple weeks, right? You don't have to get into a playoff spot or striking distance now, I would say. They're within striking distance, the perfect way to put it. It took a lot to get there, seven, one and two over that stretch.

7:15The senators actually lost a point ground on Columbus over the last 10 games. That's how good the Blue Jackets have been. But the way things are shaken out and the why I mentioned the Pittsburgh and the New York Islanders lost is because Pittsburgh, despite now only, or sorry Columbus, despite only being one point behind Boston now, like you can see a path forward where they're in the metropolitan divisions top three at the end of the day. So really Ottawa just needs to focus on the Atlantic division. The Boston Bruins four points up and buddy, there's the Montreal Canadians, only six points ahead of Ottawa. They do have a game in hand, but these two teams will meet in just a week's time at the Canadian Tiger Center. So big game there on the horizon. But Ottawa can't look ahead because they've got two tough matchups and a tough travel turnaround. They're going from playing Monday night in Vancouver to Wednesday in Ottawa. So it's going to be a really tough game for them. I think that one, but Ottawa's got a chance now to make this road trip memorable and maybe

8:17the friggin' TSN turning point of the season. Yeah, it could be huge. And who knows Ross, their roster could look very different come that Seattle game. It will at least have one addition and one subtraction from the roster, but maybe there's more. We did our immediate breakdown as well, busy day on lockdown senators with Warren Vogel being acquired. We now have quotes from some of his senators' teammates after the win over Calgary. Dylan Cousin said he got to know him a little bit off the ice this summer in Muscoca, just off enjoying their summer, that sort of thing. So he says it's a great guy. On top of that, he's got speed and a scoring touch. Obviously, we covered the scoring touch hasn't been there this year. He's on ice shooting percentage is 5%, he's shooting 9%, he only has seven goals on pace for less than 13. He scored 24 last year, 20 the year before, but I really feel like not only a change of scenery, but a change of system could do him well.

9:20He might still be in that checking line, but Ottawa's checking line is built to be much more aggressive than the really conservative defensive way that the LA Kings play. So I like the fit, and it then led into another move right before Puckdrop of David Peron being traded to the Detroit Red Wings. Lots of conditions on that trade. We'll discuss that next. 12:24Why not see what their perspective is of the potential move? And then we even have the crossovers, like we had our guy Eddie Garcia on to break down Warren Fogel. It's the beauty of the network. Yeah, absolutely. And Eddie gave us a lot of really good insight on Warren Fogel, especially because that is a player that had a career year in LA last season. And then for some reason this year, it just wasn't working out for him. So he was telling us a bit of the things that he liked about Warren Fogel's game and maybe why a change of scenery will really do him some good. Yeah, so let's see how that fit is. And remember, there's still lots more action to come. We just saw John Carlson get traded to the Anaheim ducts. I was like, oh, yeah, like rental end of his career, like that's a, he's been playing for the capitals since 2009, dude, crazy. For him to get traded, like midnight, Eastern time, just wild to me. And then you look up his stats, he's got 46 points and 55 games this year.

13:27And the Washington capitals, I know they played more games, but like, they're tied with the sends in points. And they're just punting on the season. It seems like like they did the Nick Dowd deal now, John Carlson, like on a potential last season for Alex Ovechkin. Why not bring him to Ottawa? Yeah. Yeah. Great. Great question. That's, we need an answer for that. Why was Alex Ovechkin been brought to Ottawa yet? Well, probably because number eight is not available. It's got to be the only reason. Yeah. I think maybe we would talk with Michael Ann Lauer if we could change a retired number to bring Ovechkin in. A fun fact. Alex Ovechkin's zero Olympic gold medals, Artem Zube won Olympic gold medal. True. Nicholas Martin Palo won Olympic gold medal. No, bronze. One Olympic medal. There you go. There you go. Although you think Matt Palo could have been on the 2020 team. Now he wasn't.

14:28Anyways. Yeah. So lots of trades going down. Sam Carrick just got moved as well, a little bit lesser of a trade, obviously. The big news for Ottawa and I was like, I'm not shocked that David Peron got moved, but the timing of it, like seconds before puck drop, I'm just saying the senators did play a little heavy in the first period, almost like they were distracted. And I'm not going to blame a team for playing distracted this time of year. It's a weird one, but you could tell after the game, it hadn't even been 10 minutes and Brady Kachakshin, pit, Thomas Shabbat, Dylan Cousins, all these guys have Instagram stories, Lena Salmark as well, just about how much they appreciate David Peron being a member of the senators, but he gets moved to the Detroit Red Wings. You got to think that had to be stale, doing a solid as well. Like that's a place that he's familiar. He's comfortable, that's where he was before he came to Ottawa. He's at the end of the year. But the fact that this clause was in the deal. So the deal is a conditional fourth round pick. Now, the condition is he has to play a game with Detroit one game.

15:34So do you think that Ottawa's medical or strength staff, whatever the case may be, sports earning is tough to come back from at that age. Like this almost feels like mitigating a potential risk and moving off that money at the same time. So Ottawa doesn't have to pay a pick to get rid of the contract. They bring in Fogal who makes $500,000 less than Peron, but it almost feels like maybe they know something about this injury that maybe the fans don't. Yeah, possibly, but I mean, if we're taking Travis Green at his word, he stated that David Peron's very close. He's been skating. He was traveling with the team, right? So he was at least close to coming back and there's still like 21, 20, 22 games left for a lot of these teams. So I got to think it's likely he plays one game, but that's also a thing where maybe he's close to coming back and then he tweaks it in a warmup or a practice and then he's not able to. So it'll be interesting to see,

16:35but yeah, for a clause to be, you just have to play once. I don't know if I've seen that, to be honest. Now there is a secondary clause in this. If the Red Wings win the first round of the playoffs and David Peron plays 50% of the games in that first round series, first, Detroit, you got to make the playoffs first. But if they do win a round in the playoffs, that becomes a third round pick for the Ottawa Senators. Just something to note there, but it is a 20, 27, 27 or 26 draft. That's my apologies. I should know that it's late. Lots of trades going on. I probably should just say it's 20, 28 just because that's how all the other trades are, but it's definitely not a 20, 28 pick. The David Peron trade to the Red Wings in this exchange for 20, 26 pick. So, look, I just want to go on record and saying this. The New Jersey Devils were reinstated their pick, first round pick that was taken away for the Colville Chuck contract thing, the day after the trade deadline that year.

17:36I don't want to say that it's coming, but I don't know that Steve Stales would have moved off the Buffalo second round pick this year, versus a second round pick in either of the next two drafts. If he didn't maybe have an idea that they were going to get that pick back. Now, I should mention New Jersey didn't get their pick back. They got the last pick of the first round. And I think that would be a very fair punishment for the Ottawa senators to have. Yeah, and it's interesting because maybe that's something that Gary Bettman has had up his sleeve because he didn't want the senators to be in a position where they had the leverage to know or decide whether they have that pick to move it or to allow that to bring in more assets. So maybe it's like, okay, now that's punishment in itself. All bets are closed, all bets are off. Here, you get your chip back. So maybe that is part of the scenario, but I am less optimistic that that is the case. Like I would be shocked if that happens.

18:39Oh, it would be bonus episodes. It would be bonus episode worthy if Ottawa gets their first round pick back. It would be like, we would make a trade graphic to Ottawa their own first round pick. Gary Bettman, future considerations. No, flowers. Pilsy, if Ottawa gets their first round pick back, you and I are gonna pick an Ottawa tariffs on the border might be tough. We're gonna send flowers to the NHL head office. Sure, sounds good. A bouquet of flowers to the NHL head office. Maybe a edible fruit arrangement or something. Yeah, what? Get bass, get muffins. Bless his parents who, bless gonna be at the boots on the ground with us next week. His parents on the edible arrangements right down to Ottawa. I'm sure they could dip some pineapple and chocolate. We can send it to Gary. Send it to Bill Daley, thank you. They would love that for sure. Our draft profiles would appreciate it. That's what I was just about to say, because right now we are looking at zero draft picks held by the Ottawa Sanders in the first two rounds. So unless we're covering what?

19:41I have an idea. 62 to 100 and... That's what I'm saying. In 92, I guess. So when we went to the draft in 2024, we did a top 64 draft from maybe even top 80, actually, because I think Eliasin was 80th. We just put him in, because he said, we wanted to have a laugh at it. I think we did 80 draft profiles. We should do 50 to 100. Like don't even touch the top 50, do from 50 to 150. Yeah, I mean, that sounds fun, but there's only so many lists of guys that deep. So that'll be that'll be a challenge. But it is funny, because you look back at our rankings. And if you picked all the players that were best available on our list, you'd probably have a better team than what the sentence gets picked. And I mean, team by prospects. Yeah, definitely. But Ross, we're getting ahead of ourselves because we are now assuming that Steve Stales will still hold on to any of those third round picks tomorrow and as the draft goes on. And then what are we going to do?

20:41Draft, draft prospect profiles for rounds five and six? I actually have a funny message on this because I did a board earlier on today about all of Steve Stales' acquisitions and trades. Pillsy, now this includes when they flipped the pick they got by moving down in the first round at the draft for Jordan Spence. But Steve Stales as Ottawa Senators General Manager, so this includes Hensler, those were picks traded acquired at the time. The Ottawa Senators have acquired a total of nine draft picks since Steve Stales came around. He has then taken that draft pick that he got and traded it four separate times. Wow. The Buffalo second, right? That was moved today for Warren Fogel. He acquired that pick. The 2025 third round pick that they moved in that deal as well was acquired by Washington, from Washington,

21:44for Jacob Chichran. The sixth round pick that they got for Kevin Mandelazy in the draft where they gave up a seventh, they flipped that pick with the third they got in that move down for Jordan Spence. So Stales isn't afraid to move picks that he gets and I kind of liked that aggressive nature. We talked about that going into this trade deadline. Hey, if you can get picks, you can then turn around and use them separately. Well, we know Stales has no problem with that. So I'm really curious to see, but they won't be able to do that with the pick for David Peron because that pick doesn't exist until David Peron plays a game for the Detroit Red Wings. Quick thought on David Peron. How would you summarize his tenure with the Ottawa Senators? Wait, quickly, do the wings play tomorrow? I don't know. They have to play pretty early, I guess. There's no way he's ready to be back yet. He's got to get into a few practices. Yeah, definitely no. The wings do play their home to Florida. And we're rooting hard for Florida at this point because they've lost enough in a row that we can give them a win or two.

22:46Big time. Quick thoughts on David Peron. It didn't work out the way either party intended. I think the SENS and David Peron, I mean, especially last year, you had the off-ice stuff that kept him out to you, you had a back injury that kept him out. It only had 16 points in 43 games as the minus seven. Now, I will say, he showed up in the playoffs, that he had three points in six games and he was a really good veteran guy for the Ottawa Senators to have. And then this year, things were looking up in 49 games, 10 goals, 15 assists, 25 points. Like, I think when they acquired him Ross, I was saying this is gonna be a guy that I'm expecting to get somewhere between 35 and 45 points. And he was, he's projected to have got 35 points this season based on those numbers. So they didn't need a lot from him, but they didn't get enough from him to justify that $4 million cap hit. And at 37 years old, coming off a back injury, a sporturnia surgery,

23:47and probably playing majority of your time on a fourth line. It just didn't make sense for him to be here anymore. And it's probably not the type of opportunity that he wants at this time. Anyways. And we said that that off season, you were signing guys, basically, it was a million dollars for every 10 points that you were contributing. Look at Mike Lomario, 2.6 million, then he gets 26 points in each of his first two years of Ottawa, 27, sorry, 27 in both years. David probably had 92 games with the Senators and had 41 points. So almost the equivalent of one whole season and almost the equivalent of 100 grand per point, 41 points, played 10 extra games, but I'll remember David Peron for two things. One game six, tying the game with seven minutes left from behind the net, that was just so special. You really felt like Ottawa was going to do something amazing at that moment. So we'll always be thankful for David Peron for that huge goal at a great time. And the other thing was when they got Dylan Cousins last year,

24:49that line where David Peron was up with Dylan Cousins and Drake Batherson, that was a huge boost for them going on the stretch run they did to push and make the playoffs. So always be thankful for David Peron for what he did there. And we obviously only have the on ice portion. I don't think you can put into quantity, like you can't quantify what he did for the locker room. And you can tell by all the reception of the guys being sad that he's on his way out, that he was a great veteran for this group. So nothing but good memories for David Peron. Obviously, on the other side of it, like full stop with that. But then on the other side of it was, he did take some careless offense with his own penalties. He wasn't necessarily the most reliable all the time. There's moments where he was for sure. But he played his last game for Ottawa on January 8th to 20th. And I looked it up on an January 18th that took an ozone penalty. And I tweeted, get this guy off my team. So I didn't mean it so literally and so quickly, only one game between then and now, but I think Detroit's going to be a good spot for him.

25:50Obviously, it's a place he's comfortable. So we're happy for David Peron that he gets to go somewhere that could make a playoff, might make a run, maybe. But good for David Peron. The fact that Ottawa was able to recoup something for that on a guy they were very unlikely to re-sign this off season anyways, just makes a lot of sense to get ahead of it and bring in Fogel at a discount to replace his spot in the forward court. Yeah, tidy piece of business by Steve Sales, in my opinion. So those are the deals that have been done. But what's left to come? 28:54after saving 500 grand by moving out for all bringing in Warren Fogel. How hopeful or how much do you expect Steve Steyles to continue to be active? I think he's got one more in the chamber Ross. Now how big is this going to be? I don't know, but I got to think that he's still looking at a defenseman. Cause Warren Fogel, like we talked about, that was a dressing and need. We didn't really prioritize adding a checking forward to an already solid defensive checking line. However, he should help depend on the kill, which is something the Ottawa Senators do need. But a right-shot D is certainly much more of a priority and it's going to be interesting because with the way that the cost of right-shot defensemen are, that's expensive to acquire. But also if you're looking to move one to create cap space or to get assets to acquire one,

29:57that might be an avenue Steve Steyles looks at it as well. So I do think there's one more move left here, Ross. Call me crazy. I think he's going to bring in an impact forward. Define impact. Like I think he's going to bring in a legit forward to help this team. Cause think about it other than that one spot on right defense that frankly, it's a need, but like if they stay with what it is, Jens is not the best defenseman, but you could even take him out, move spence up and have Matt and Paulo play third pair minutes. You're dealing from a position where, sure, it's the weakness on your team, but like you're not desperate. You're not spending a top prospect, like the Buffalo Sabers did tonight to bring in Logan Stanley and Luke Shen. Like you're not in that desperate of a need, but Pilsy, like, I'm not going to say a name because I don't know, I don't think it's going to be Robert Thomas or anyone like that, but you also can't mention Robert Thomas

30:58without saying that Steve Steyles has already traded for him in the Ontario Hockey League and won a championship with him and he was playoff MVP. He knows how good Robert Thomas is and Elliot Friedman even reported that the senators called St. Louis on Robert Thomas. So I would be very excited if Robert Thomas was senator. I'll go out and be very out in the forefront on that one. But I do think that there is some sort of impact moving maybe a Fabian Zetterland has to go the other way in that trade. I do think a forward would have to come out. But the fact that they sat Stephen Halliday tonight and we love Halley, we hope he's a long time Ottawa senator. But if you can get a Philip Forsberg, basically a guy who's signed with term, Thomas is the same way. And that can really impact not only on ice, but what the morale in the room would feel like.

31:58They're already appreciative that Steyles gave them more and fogal as a guy who can help them now. It shows our trust or the team's belief in us. That's what Dylan Cousin said. If they bring in another one, the confidence in this group is going to be sky high that they can get it done. They've had some trouble with the goal tending that seems to be self. 803 and last 11 decisions for Lena Salmer. I mean, come on. But the other part of that is that there's been games that we get a ton of shots, but they don't have that finisher, that guy who can just put it away with the move of a stick. I think he's got, I think Steve Steyles is big game hunting. He still has his 2027 first, his 2028 first, his 2027 second, his 2028 second, and he hasn't touched his prospects yet in the trade. This seems four points out and they are playing like one of the better teams in the league. Absolutely. Yeah. And that's the thing like if you bolster this team,

33:00there's no reason to believe they don't have a shot against any playoff team in a seven game series. That's a thing. And because of where they put themselves, if they do make the playoffs, they're going to be going in feeling so good about themselves and feeling like they can beat anybody. I'm thinking this might be the time to strike. And again, you want a guy with term. You're not in the rental game. You're not looking at a Michael Bunting who people are saying, oh, his stats are better than Warren Vogel's. Why is he going for a third round pick? Well, Vogel's got a year left. I think that was really important for Steve Steyles to have term. And if he could bring another guy in with term. I really like the makeup of this team. And you just you saw there. And we talked about how great they were today was the bounce back. They were bad against Edmonton. And they showed no, that's not the team we are. This is the team we are. I'm bullish that Steve Steyles has something up his sleeve. Whether it's a right shot defenseman, whether it's an impact scoring forward.

34:00I think we're going to see one more move. And I think it's going to be one of the ones that is at the end of trade center. When they go back to the biggest moves of the day, I think Steve Steyles will find his way into that conversation. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to ask a different question. What time of day do you think this happens? Like, do you think this is something he's already got in the works? And he pulls the trigger and we wake up and our coffee's still brewing. And we hear that name like Dylan Cousins was last year. Or are we going to get the 37 seconds left until the deadline, like a Fabian settlement or maybe in the middle. I think it comes before noon. Okay. That's my thought. I don't think it'll be like wake up and oh my goodness. There's, there's talk. I would expect the senators not to skate tomorrow, by the way. I just don't think it's, it's worth work today, by the way. As, as it's Friday, like, you just want a game in Calgary flying to Seattle. Like, take the day off. Rest. Go in.

35:00It's a do what you need. If you want to go on the ice, optional skate, that sort of thing. But I don't think what I'm getting at is I don't think that we're going to get what we did last year. Where the senators were on the ice for practice. And everyone was like, where's Josh Norris? Where's Jacob and our doctor? Something's happening and it's spiraled from there. I don't think that's going to be the case of Ottawa tomorrow, especially because they're on Pacific time zone. They're not going to be one of those wake up. Oh, who's on the ice? Who's not? Who gets pulled off all that gobble to you that goes on every trade deadline day in the morning. But I do think that because especially Steve Steyos is working for Ottawa. So it's not like, oh, well, Steyos is a alarm, even if it goes off at 6 a.m. It's still nine Eastern. There's still a lot of day. He's in a lot of what. So he's going to be working hard. I think that the deal is going to come in a brown between the 11 a.m. and noon hour. That's my call. Next question. Does he sell an asset first to make this move? That you're basically asking me as Nick Jensen on his way out for a pick and then flip.

36:05That is basically what I'm asking. Yes. I mean, with the salary that they saved today, they can add about a $7 million player right now without doing anything. I think there's a world where Jensen stays and they add. Yeah. It's going to be so fast and see what's your call. You think he's got one move left, but do you disagree with my comment that I think it's going to be like a very impactful move. I do. And maybe that's just me being pessimistic. Pillsy. And I'm pooping on your parade here or raining on your parade. Yeah, please. Give me an umbrella. That's a little aggressive. That's very aggressive. Yeah. I'm trying to have a parade here. Yeah. Apologies. Apologies raining on your parade there. I would love it. And I would be just as excited as you. But I just. I don't see where he can. I've been saying this for weeks. I don't see where he can outbid. Teams for that impact forward.

37:05And I just think. The priority for a right shot defenseman is there like. If you start looking up against these teams that the sense possibly could face in the playoffs. That's where your big hole is. And that's where you're going to get outmatched at times, I think. So that would be the way I would go personally, but. Who knows I'm sticking with though. I do think one more deal is coming. Whether it's just a sell off. Or adding a defenseman. There's one more left. I do. I do think that as well. Pills, any final thoughts on today's show. And I hope we're talking to you like minutes after this is released. Yeah, seriously final thoughts. Right now it's we're recording a two 15 a.m. Eastern. Fun thought for me Ross is and we got to do this because I love nostalgia. How awesome was it? And if you're in school. Skipping school to stay home and watch trade deadline. I had the flu like clockwork in March. Oh man, I slept in miss the bus today. It's too far for me. It was an hour drive for me to get to school in high school. So if I missed that bus, I missed the bus. And oh no, what a terrible time to do that. Popped up on the couch watching trade deadline all day. Like it's just. It's something that I think only maybe some Americans.

39:08But I feel like that's such a Canadian thing. It's almost like our day after the Super Bowl is like, okay, no today. You don't work. You stay home. You order in food. Get your pot of coffee going. And you just enjoy the day and you're texting all your buddies. Like, oh man, do you see this? I can't believe this is happening. When are they going to make this move? It's just such a fun day. It's the best day ever. I remember being in Lisker like grade nine. I had my motorola razor out. You want to know guys. But it was back in the day where you would subscribe to TSN. Oh yeah. They would text you updates when there was a trade. That's how you got your news. You know, YouTube immediate reactions. There was no getting on to Twitter or the X, the everything app. And just seeing Ross Levitt and Tweet out Warren Fogel and saying, is he coming to Ottawa? One minute later, Darren Drager breaks the news. No, there was none of that. You had to subscribe. Pay 25 cents every time that a text came in.

40:10But you don't think I was excited when Olegs of frickin' freaking got traded to the Ottawa Senators. Come on. It's one of the best days in the nostalgia of the year. I'm so glad you brought that up and I couldn't agree more. It's just especially when your team is in a position where you're not worried about which fan favorite is being sent out the door. Like I think that really. The valleys make us appreciate. I was going to say the mountains. We're not on the hills. What? We're on the prairies right now. But at least it's not going down. No, it's like. The teams are sending. But I mean in terms of playoff position, we're not. We're not a strict buyer here. We're selling off David Peron. That sort of thing, right? Or buying Warren Fogel. Get your Warren Fogel stocks right now. Oh, since we're just gibberish right now. Warren Fogel scores goal in his first two games as a senator. I like it.

41:10Yeah. Andy, do you know where he scores that goal Ross? Right in the crease. I went back and watched all of his goals from last season. 90% of them. And those are 24 goals. Not this year. Last year. Yes, last year. I thought I said it. Yeah, you did. But I think if people are like, oh, he's seven goals this year. It's like, no, last year, 24. It's a lot of goals from front of the net. Exactly. Yeah. So. And what was our good friend scoops saying the auto centers need. They need guys that are going to go to the net. And Warren Fogel is one of those guys. And that's how he scores his goals. So get him in positions like that. And hopefully he can succeed. I do want to see him get a goal quickly. Because this is a guy that's been snake bitten all year. 5% shooting percentage. We got to bump those numbers up. So let's get it started quickly and auto. So that's his on ice shooting percentage. Like the whole team when he's on the AC's at 9%, which is still like his career is 10.3. So he's still way below his career.

42:11Number in that aspect. But Pilsy. Yes, seven goals so far this season. If he plays all 21 remaining games, what's your guess on how many goals. Warren Fogel will contribute to Ottawa. Because I'm going to say six. I was going to say five. Okay. Five or six. And Ross, but I'll add a little wrinkle in. One shorty. Ooh. I like that a lot. Yeah. He's going to be an interesting guy to track early. Like are the feet moving. Because Eddie was like, oh, he may look like he's lost a step. But when he wheels, he can fly. There's something in the water there at L.A. Like Philip to know was just like, nah, I'm done here. Warren Fogel. Now Jordan Spence was not getting the opportunity.
