Ottawa Senators beat the Toronto Maple Leafs five goals to two on Saturday at Scotiabank Arena. Dylan Cosen's led the way with two goals and an assist, while Drake Betison added a pair of tallies. Thomas Shabot chipped in with a goal and assists two. The Senators improved to 29 wins, 22 losses, and 8 overtime losses. They're on fire lately, going six wins, one loss, and one overtime loss over their past eight games. Goalie Linus O'Mark was solid, turning aside 21 shots. For the Maple Leafs, Morgan Riley and William Nylander got the goals, but it wasn't enough. Toronto has dropped three straight now, sitting at 27 wins, 24 losses, and 9 overtime losses. Toronto grabbed an early one-nothing lead, but Ottawa dominated the first period with 16 shots to Toronto's two. They took control in the second, surging ahead with three quick goals to lead four to two.
