Seahawks Trade Up for Beau Stephens

They used it to snag all American Iowa Guard Bo Stevens, filling a gap since they had no fourth or fifth round picks left from an earlier deal. John Schneider, the team's general manager, explained the move came down to too much talent in that spot and incoming compensatory picks that made it. Worth dipping into future assets, Stevens had visited the team on a top 30 trip, which helped seal the interest. Stevens was straight up shocked when he got the call, not even knowing they traded up just for him. He said they noticed him eyeing their spot on the draft board and had to act fast. Now the Seahawks are down to 11 picks in what looks like a deep 2027 class. But if Stevens turns into an impact player on the, mine, it could all balance out.
