Reports from ESPN's Adam Schaefter say talks are stalled, with an $18 million per year offer on the table. Upcoming extensions for Jackson Smith and Jigba and Devon Withaspoon are putting pressure on the team's salary cap. That makes it tough for General Manager John Schneider to commit big money to Shaheed right now. If Shaheed hits free agency next year, the Seahawks might look to the draft for a replacement. They hold the 32nd overall pick, where most mocks point to an offensive lineman or cornerback. One name popping up as a potential target is Texas A&M wide receiver, KC Concepcion. He's a speedy playmaker who shines on special teams, much like Shaheed, though teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Buffalo Bills. Pick a head and need receivers too.
