Seahawks Eye Local RB for Walker Replacement

Kenneth Walker the third to the Kansas City Chiefs.

stands out was that Charbonne still recovering from injury, and not much depth behind him.

They might look to the 2026 NFL Draft for help, especially on day two, where local talent

could feel the gap.

Washington Huskies running back Jonah Coleman has caught their eye as a potential Walker

replacement.

Fans and analysts see Coleman as a tough old school runner who powered Washington's

offense last season.

At five feet nine, and just under 230 pounds, he's built like a fire hydrant, excelling

at powering through tackles with great balance, and a nose for the in zone.

Over his last two college seasons, Coleman ran for 25 touchdowns despite a shaky offensive

line, and he holds on to the ball well.

His north-south style mirrors Walker's, making him a natural fit for Seattle's scheme.

If drafted, Coleman could step in as the top back right away.
