The Seattle Seahawks could be adding a promising cornerback in the 2026 NFL Draft. According

to a mock draft from DAZ and analyst Jason Abbey, they select Tennessee's Colton Hood

with a 30-second overall pick. Abbey weighed options like a running back after Kenneth

Walker's departure, but settled on Hood is better value, especially with Tareek Wollin

now out. Of Seattle, Hood, a Georgia native, transferred from Colorado to Tennessee and

showed strong ball skills. In 2025, he had one interception and eight passes defended

for the volunteers. The year before Colorado, he posted two picks and six passes defended.

Seattle still boasts second team Alpro Devon with a spoon and Josh Joe back corner, but

they rotated several backs last season highlighting a need for depth. This projection points

to the Seahawks building a deeper secondary to strengthen their defense heading into

next year.
