Seahawks Draft Beau Stephens, Strengthening Offensive Line

0:00On April 25th, Seattle Seahawks just maneuvered back into the 5th round of the draft, trading their 2027 4th round pick to the Cleveland Browns to snag Iowa Guard Bo Stevens at pick 148 overall. This came after they shipped their original 4th and 5th rounders to New Orleans for Whiteout Rashid Shaheed, but they weren't done building that. The offensive lines stepped up big in year 2, under Mike McDonald. Yet, right guards stay the question mark all season. Many Bradford held it down, especially late and in the playoffs, but his deal runs out after 2026, so depth was calling. Analysts are loving this move, two A's and a B across the board from Seahawks' wire folks. They see Stevens as a tough, versatile backup who could push Bradford in camp and lock in as the air parent long term. Stevens brings serious physicality that the coaches will dig, and it's peer value. He ranked as the 87th best prospect, but fell right too.
