Seahawks Add Noah Igbinoghene to Defense

0:00On March 15th, the Seattle Seahawks keep building their defense in free agency, adding cornerback Noah Igbenagin to a one-year deal. Igbenagin entered the league as a first-round pick by the Miami Dolphins back in 2020, right out of Auburn at just 20 years old. He bounced around after that, getting traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 for limited action, then landing with the Washington Commanders, where he earned 10 starts in 2024 as a nickel corner. His playing time dropped off in 2025, with only two starts, but he brings a career high snap total, and seven passes defense from that. Prior a year, plus his lone interception as a game winner with Miami. Now the fifth corner on Seattle's Def Chart behind guys like Devon Withaspoon and Nea Meyer-Prichet, Igbenagin faces stiff competition just two, make the roster as training camp
