Schefter: Love to Commanders, Giants Pass

He predicts, Love skips the Titans at pick number 4, and the Giants at number 5, landing instead with the commanders at number 7. The Giants already have depth at running back, thanks to Cam Scottabo, their fourth round pick from last year. Before an ankle injury sidelined him, Scottabo rush for 410 yards and 5 touchdowns over 8 games while adding 207, receiving yards and 2 more scores. Love shone a Notre Dame, piling up 2882 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns on 433, carries. He also caught 63 passes for 594 yards and 6 touchdowns, helping the team reach the college football playoffs and the national championship game this past season. Schefter notes the Giants could use love, but seems set with Scottabo's early promise making a pass likely. Meanwhile, the commanders have bolstered their backfield and might see love as a perfect fit.
