Schefter: Love Not Likely Top-10, Washington Commanders Strong Fit

0:00On March 25th, ESPN insider Adam Schefter joined the Pat McAfee show this week and called Notre Dame running back Jeremiah Love, a sure top 10 pick. In the upcoming NFL draft, he poured cold water on rumors linking Love to the Tennessee Titans at pick number 4, saying that does not seem likely right now. Schefter also ruled out the New York Giants at number 5 for Love. Instead, he pointed to the Washington commanders at number 7 as a stronger fit based on what he is hearing. Titans fans dreaming of pairing Love with their backfield have to pump the brakes since the team already made big moves in free agency to shore up. Both offense and defense, that flexibility means they could easily shift to a defensive edge rusher like Ruben Bain Jr. from Miami. Draft boards are still shaking up with trades and more free agent signings expected before the event kicks off at the end of April. Everything stays fluid until draft night, so Tennessee could still surprise everyone and snag their top target after all.
