Sarwar Calls Out SNP's Double Standards on Misconduct

On April 6th, Scottish labor leader Anna Sarwar is calling out the S&P for double standards

when it comes to handling misconduct allegations.

He says they have one rule for themselves and another for everyone else.

This comes after former North Lanarkshire council leader Jordan Linden got convicted last

month on 10 offenses including five sexual assaults.

Sarwar pointed to his own party's quick action against former labor MSP, Pam Duncan-Glancy.

She got sacked as a candidate right away after reports surfaced about her friendship with

convicted pedophile Sean Morton.

It took some pressure, but labor eventually stripped her party whip too.

Meanwhile, Sarwar slammed the SNP candidate Kirsten Oswald, who was the party's deputy

Westminster leader during allegations against former MP Patrick.

Grady, he argues the S&P drags their feet, protecting their own until public pressure

forces their hand.

According to Sarwar, when issues get flagged to him, he acts fast.

But the SNP sets a process of hoping the story fades away, putting the party and leaders

first over what's right for the country.

Judge them by their actions, Sarwar says, one standard for others, a different one for

them.

He's confident that's the S&P way right now, and he'll keep pushing to expose it.
