00The body is a number, and also, yes, there are some conditions saw losing conditions and even some people with pots, we can sometimes have to use sodium and low amounts, we're trying to use as little as we possibly can, maybe measuring out 500 milligrams extra a day till we can get their condition controlled and we sometimes, but don't forget, those conditions were a doctor would have to use sodium judiciously and carefully, even then we're not just saying eat more sodium, take an extra table from the sodium, we're actually measuring out what's the minimum amount of sodium we need to give this person additionally to control their medical symptoms and we're not just haphazardly good amount, you know, huge amounts of salt even in those cases, but in any case, then those are still really rare, you know, but I want to speak out against this idea that we're going to take your hair and determine what supplements you're going to take or even take your blood to determine that, you can't really get effective, you can't really get an effective supplemental

02regimen by thinking this doctor's going to test everything and figure out what you need, because what, first of all, why not just first get your diet good first, before we start testing people, first let's see, how do you expect your body to have the right nutrients, you're not eating the right nutrients, what's that, analyzing your hair and your urine, what is to analyze your diet and see if you're getting enough, and as we said earlier, the deficient of vital nutrients, antioxidants, fiber, you know, with caratenoids, we know they're all deficient, because what they're eating, that's the most important thing to analyze, put it down on paper, what you're eating, let's see, eat some nutrients. So sorry to be so um, you said it, well, well said sir, we all we've all run into these really skinny vegan folks that are barely, you know, 90 pounds and they stand up and their blood pressure drops, and yes, you're right, 500 milliamps of sodium can help them, but they're, they're the rare exceptions, most folks is really a toxic mineral and taking an excess, I absolutely agree, well, well answered. Um, Dr. Clapper, you've discussed the importance of healthy fats from nuts and seeds,

03what are your recommendations regarding the quantity and preparation of these foods, and then Dr. Ferman, you could comment on that also. Sure, yeah, well we absolutely need some fat in our diet, our hormones are made of fats, our cell members are made of fat, our brains are wrapped in fat, we need some, but again, the plea is to get them out of whole foods, out of avocados and walnuts and flax seeds, and olives, rather than out of glass bottles, don't be important, liquid fat on your food, and we don't need that much fat and a handful of walnuts will basically meet most of your needs along with the, with a tablespoon of ground flax seeds and hemp seeds on, on your morning cereal there. Um, there, and there's the issue of, um, of DHA and EPA, and these are long-chain fatty acids that the body can make from the, from the short of, ALA in the diet, and there's a lot of folks who are saying, you know, you absolutely,

09for the sake of your brain, as well as your heart should be taking supplemental DHA and EPA, Dr. Furman certainly is, is in that count, and there's, and there's no, I've, you know, the winds are going back and forth, back and forth, but it still seems to make sense, I can't believe that a small amount of this is going to be harmful. So, anyway, get, get plenty of healthy fat containing foods in your diet naturally, and then strongly consider taking DHA and EPA self mentally, derive from LG, not from, not from fish. Thank you, Michael. Um, Steve, should I go? Yes. I, I did make that statement early, which I think it's good and important to repeat, is that there's probably nothing else in the scientific literature that shows as much corroborative evidence as utilizing nuts and seeds as a source of fat, and it's effect on reducing both cardiovascular mortality and all-cause mortality. And I, I, I, I can't repeat that enough,

13in that we're talking about almost a 40% reduction of cardiovascular mortality, when people choose to get their fats from nuts and, the regular consumption of nuts and seeds. The American diet gets its fat from animal fats and oils, and that's nutritionary and get our fats from, there's not the clapper just said, nuts, seeds, and avocados. And the data is clear when, and the data's pretty, there's a lot of studies on this. I, I wrote, I wrote a journal article published in the International Journal of Disease Prevention and Reversal, and I, I had 50 references showing incredible corroborative effects just looking at cardiovascular death, how it prevented cardiac arrhythmias and, and atrophibulation and sudden cardiac death. And that, so we're talking here about the relationship between eating whole food fats, and the fact that they're, that the other types of fats people can eat that aren't nuts and seeds, those are oils and animal fats. And when we're comparing nuts and seeds versus oil and animal fats, we show that people not lose tremendous, it encourages weight loss. And because the fats are absorbed so slowly in

19the bloodstream, as compared to rushing and so fast with animal fats and oils, they don't get stored as fat, they get preferentially burned for energy. And the body could keep yourself going for four or five hours out and to eat again. So they have long-term effects on being, on satiety, so people feel satiated and they don't have to keep eating overeating food. And the, and I'm also suggesting that animal fats and oils are somewhat, because of the caloric rush. It's called, when you take in a lot of sugar at one time, it's called the glycemic load, that means a whole bunch of sugar into the bloodstream at one time. We know a huge load of sugar in the blood is not good for the brain, it's not good for the body. When a lot of fats enter the blood stream, you get a like pymic load. And after clapper is put slides up about this in the years ago, the like pymic load in the blood showing blood that's full of fat. And when you eat animal fats and oils, you get a huge load of blood that, the huge load of fat that just flies into the bloodstream. And yet, it makes everything sticky from platelets. And it also I'm saying the caloric

21rush has effects to effect brain, the brain, to make you more dopamine resistant. And now you become give little cravings. And you're not satisfied with the bowl of vegetable being soup. And it's big salad and some mango. You, you got to have something with more caloric rush. You got to have some fried foods. You got to have a burger, a pizza, some candy, some ice cream. You got to get some calories in the bloodstream, but you're not going to feel the same brain stimulatory effect. So, but over time, when people switch to eating greens and beans and nuts, they're much to become satisfied with the right amount of calories. They lose their addiction and drive to, to, to, to overeat food. And yes, we, we are not against fat. We know the diets can be, we know that some, some studies show, for example, if the diet is too low on fat, then even olive oil can be a benefit. Because the diet was otherwise too low on fat. And studies on olive oil show, when people switch from animal fats on butter, or other oils to olive oil, there's some benefit. But it's still a

23comparative study. Even in the prevenged study, the longest of people were those who were eating nuts and seeds at base not lying, who are randomized eating, to eat nuts and seeds with the longest lip. The point I'm making is it's all against what you're comparing it to. And though olive oil's better than butter and comparatively, maybe better than no, no fat in your diet or zero fat.
