The New Orleans Saints agreed to a four-year deal with Travis Etienne Jr. worth $52 million. Right around the same time, the Kansas City Chiefs signed Kenneth Walker III to a three-year contract for $45 million. These are strong players, but not the absolute elite at their position. Now they're earning top-tier money, with Etienne pulling in $13 million a year. Before Monday, just five running backs in the league topped that average annual value. For the Saints, this move likely spells the end of the Alvin Camarra era in New Orleans. It also takes them out of the mix to draft running back Jeremiah Love and number eight overall, especially after his impressive combine workout.
