From NFL coverage, this is your March 5th update. The New Orleans Saints are kicking off their private workouts for the 2026 NFL Draft. They're starting early, just like last off season, when they hosted dozens of top prospects under New Head Coach Kellyn Moore. Their first reported visit this cycle is with Clemson Offensive Tackle, Tristan Lee, a promising developmental left tackle. Lee brings solid college experience, logging nearly 2,000 snaps over five years at Clemson. His game has shown real growth, especially in past protection during his latest season and all around blocking the year before. He dealt with an ankle injury last year that sidelined him for six games, but still played over 500 snaps. In that time, he allowed zero sacks in just 10 pressures, though he had four penalties and some struggles in run blocking due to limited mobility. The year before that, in almost 700 snaps, Lee gave up two sacks in 20 pressures with three penalties, showing more consistency, overall.
He skipped the NFL Combine after the East West Shrine Bowl, but impressed enough to get this Saints look. At six with six and three hundred and ten pounds, Lee projects as a day three pick who could serve as a reliable backup tackle for New Orleans right away.
