The New Orleans Saints tackled a bunch of roster holes during 2026 NFL free agency in

just a few days.

They still need help at Cornerback after losing Alentay Taylor.

Young players like Cool Aid McKinstreet and Quincy Riley look solid as core pieces, but

the team met with Toledo Cornerback Andre Fuller to check him.

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the Saints were one of several teams chatting

with Fuller ahead of the draft.

They might target him for the nickel spot or outside and shuffle some guys around to

fit.

Fans and analysts see this as a smart move since Fuller brings playmaking skills.

In 13 games this season, including his bowl game, he faced 52 targets and allowed just

22 catches for 259.

Yards, one touchdown, one interception, and nine pass breakups.

Meanwhile, Scouts highlight his athleticism with a relative athletic score of 9.19 thanks

to his size that helps in coverage.

He played mostly on the boundary with 590 snaps there compared to 70 in the slot.

Fuller projects as an early third round pick may be a bit higher after workouts.

He could develop into a strong boundary option next to McKinstreet, filling that gap for

New Orleans as training camp nears.
