About this episode
June was stalked by her former babysitter who used drugs and alcohol to manipulate her. When June was a child her parents hired the daughter of a close family friend to babysit her and her brothers. A few years later June's family moved to the midwest and their babysitter stayed in touch through phone calls and the occasional visit. After High School June moved back to California for college and her parents suggested she move in with the former babysitter. Although June was excited to rekindle their friendship, things took a downward spiral when drugs, alcohol and sex entered their relationship. June started avoiding her apartment and former babysitter because she had become too toxic to be around. Feeling depressed, isolated, and scared, June eventually confessed to her parents that she had to leave California as soon as possible for her own safety. When June moved back to the Midwest, her former babysitter escalated her stalking behavior by calling incessantly, harassing her, and threatening to tell her parents about the explicit things that had happened. Months after moving, June received a call from a mutual friend that had discovered dozens of photos and videos on her stalker's hard drive of random men having sex with June while she was drugged and unconscious. **This episode of Strictly Stalking contains topics including sexual assault, non-consensual pornography, and suicide.
