S2 E46: Tyler Finally Watches Dune

I wish that I could express just how bad I want to underline, enlarge, and make bold - the word "FINALLY" in this episode's title.
In the 20+ years we've known each other I've been trying to convince Tyler to, at the very least, read DUNE by Frank Herbert. Or even to just come over and pop the 1984 David Lynch adaptation in my VCR. (That should have been an easy "yes" because of Sean Young, and Sting being in the movie).
But, much to my disappointment - he continued to not be interested in giving it a chance.
He didn't even listen when I described the greatness of the newest adaptation by Denis Villeneuve and the Allstar cast that came out in 2021.

But - finally the day has come. Get ready to dive into an episode where not only was I proven correct - but, we talk about all there is to love about one of sci-fi's greatest stories - DUNE. A story that I've been obsessed with since I was around 10 years old.
Somehow we dive into a few rabbit trails as to be expected - somehow even going down one on a Radiohead...
