On a late September evening in 1952, two young brothers playing outside witnessed what looked like a ball of flame soar over their heads and crash land on a local farmer's land. Recruiting their mother and a few neighbors, the group ventured into the woods of their small West Virginia town to investigate... What they found that night, or perhaps what found them, was something that would go down in history as one of the most frightening and intriguing encounters...one that would put that small town on the map.
