Rozeboom Leaves Panthers for Buccaneers

Free agent inside linebacker, Christian Roseboom, is leaving the Carolina Panthers for a division rival. The 29-year-old is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after just one season in Carolina. Blaspring, the Panthers brought him in on a one-year deal, worth $3.5 million. He stepped up as a starter when Josie Jewel retired over a concussion issue. Roseboom shone on the field, starting all 16 regular season gains, and their wild car playoff loss to his former team, the Los Angeles Rams. He led Carolina with 122 tackles, plus two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He's not the only recent Panther heading to Tampa Bay. Defensive lineman Ashahn Robinson already joined the Bucks on his own one-year contract. Both moves bolster Tampa Bay's defense heading into next season, as Carolina shifts focused the filling linebacker gaps.
