Royals Share Heartwarming Stories in Australia

The six-day trip from March 14th to March 19th included stops in Canberra, Luzoo, Catatagusa, National Park, and Mary's hometown of Hobart. During a speech at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne, on March 18th, Frederick shared a light-hearted story from early in their marriage. He recalled attending an art exhibition in Sydney where a young boy asked his mom who the guy was standing next to Mary. Frederick Grandin said, Australians will always see him that way and he takes it as a compliment. Mary jilted back to he's no boy anymore, but a man now. The crowd loved it, laughing and applauding warmly. This marked their return in an official role since Queen Margretta stepped down in early 2024.
