2:01coming your way this morning. Only the two games coming up tonight have obviously got the short around and all that sort of stuff. So super Saturday, doesn't kick off until 5.30, we have got two crackers coming your way. The last night, wow, two big upsets, I have the New Zealand Warriors who looks sensational against the roosters who just looked a little bit out of sorts, looks like it's going to take a bit of time. The roosters are traditionally very slow starters, we spoke about it on the podcast with Tom Yager the other day about how the roosters will trend Robinson actually. He only wins 30% of his round one games, which when you have a look at the other coaches that have coached for 8, 9, 10 plus years, they're just about all double that. So very interesting, the roosters have they do tend to start slow. The New Zealand Warriors are, they look really good, defended really well, which has sort of been the hallmark of their game over the last couple of years, we'll talk about that more in the rapid review. Then of course, second game, the Panthers, I thought the Panthers are win, I didn't think they'd win like this though, 26 points to Neil over the Brisbane Broncos. Look, I really don't know how much you take away from this game, I mean, Panthers, they

3:03look sensational, I've tipped them to win the comp this year, I think they are going to be the best team in the competition, they looked exactly how I expected them to look. Brisbane didn't, but I mean, this is how Brisbane kind of looked for big parts of last year as well. So it's really hard to make a judgement on Brisbane, I'm not going to jump to a conclusion after one game, they played the parameter eels on Thursday night, if we get the 10 out of 10 Broncos next week, I won't be shocked in the slightest, because this is the sort of football team they are, they had a fantastic eight weeks to finish the season, they were still down by 12 points at half time of each of those games, they aren't a clinical, perfect football site. And even in that game last night, even though the Panthers were on fire and they were killing the Broncos with door full, I still thought if they just played 10 good minutes of football here, they can win this game of football, you saw it in the World Club challenge the other day as well, it just didn't come around last night, but as a whole, I don't, I don't think we really learnt anything about the Broncos last night, once again, if they come out against Paramatter on Thursday and absolutely blow them away, I personally will not be shocked

We got for the Sharkies, we'll Kennedy at fullback Sianicarta on one wing, Sami Stone Street on the other, Raymond and Iroh in the centre, Trindola, Niko Hines in the halves, AFB and Tommy Hazardin in the front row, Blake Brailey at nine, Brittnickara on one edge, Billy Burns on the other, and then Jesse Colhoon, he locks the scrum in Jersey 13. The bench for Craig Fitzgibbon, Tallokai, Rudolph, Kofusi, Wellay, Puru and Valea. Let's move to Josh Hane's first game as Gold Coast Titans head coach, at fullback Kano, Kenny on the wings, Fear Manai, Jojo and Phil Sami, and then in the centres we got Jojo for theatre and Max Fangai, Ajay Brimson at 5 a.m. Luckily Ilius, at halfback replacing the injured Jaden Campbell, Moffat Awaker and Teno

5:09on the front row, Sami Verles in the nine, on the edges we have both former, and as I was instructed this week, Arama Ho I believe it's pronounced, who's one that we're going to keep an eye on, especially from a super coach point of view, Chris Erandel locks the scrum in the 13. The bench for Josh Hane, Curtis Moran, Tobi Simkins, Clees Haas, Cooper Byte, Luke Summinton and Zane Harrison. Every interesting game this one, the Sharkies, essentially the same side they've put together over the last few years, just missing Moulotalo and Kim McKinnis. Outside of that, I mean nothing really changes too much for the Sharkies, even the guys that are in the team now because of those injuries, Sam Stone Streets coming and done a job on numerous occasions, very talented fella, you've got, sorry, Tigh Wilton's missing as well, but Billy Burns, he did a job last year, Jesse Collehoon in the 13, did a job, not only in the NRL, but in NRL finals last year, so the Sharkies, there's no reason why they should drop back here. I'd sort of thought that they were not overly impressive in trials, but I think they're one of those teams that they know their identity, they know who they are, so trials probably

6:12mean less to them than any other side realistically. What I do find interesting is this Gold Coast tie in the team. Now I thought in the trials, we spoke about it with TJ during the week, but they just seem to be a different attitude being shown by the Gold Coast tie-ins, and I get it, it's trials, some trials mean more to some teams and others, they tend to mean more to the teams that have new coaches, but I just thought there was a bit of a different defensive attitude that looks like it is seat down into the lower grade guys, so I give the Titans a chance here. I love the 11 and a half start, I'd probably bump that out to 12 and a half, if I was you guys, you get about $1.80 there, I think that's really good value for this tie-in side who I think they're going to play with a lot of passion today, I think they've got more to play for today than what the Sharkies probably do. So give me the Sharks to win, but I think the Titans are unreal value in this game. As far as in a tipping comp that went on odds instead of just head-to-head, I would be

7:12taking the Titans at $3.80 here, I reckon they'll give the Sharkies a very, very good shake and it wouldn't shock me if they do win. I don't mind that Lockham and Elias isn't half back as well, a genuine seven, it might just open Bremmo and Kenny up to do their thing a little bit more, despite Jaden Campbell being a much better player, structure wise, it might actually help the Gold Coast Titans in this one, so give me the Sharkies, I'll tip them to win, but geez, I think the Titans are unreal value and I think they are every chance to cause a boil over down there. You've obviously got Josh Hanna as well, a former coach at the Cranola Sharks, he might have a few tips and whatnot and strategies to get the better of the Sharkies. It won't shock me whatsoever if we get to the end of this game and we're talking about how he's identified something in Trindle or Hines or a way to get at them or whatever. Josh Hanna has got big wraps on him and the other thing that I've liked you in the week is that a lot of people who's opinion that I trust, they like, look at the Titans going into this one. Tommy Yeager, he reckons is unreal there and the Titans he's to them to win and the other one was Luke Kiri, who's very high on the Titans.

8:13I think he might have even had them in his top eight to make a jump there, so plenty to watch in this game. From a Tricerar point of view, the guys I'm looking at, I think you will get a reasonably high scoring game here, weather's looking pretty good down here in Sydney, I think you get a lot of ball movement from both these sides. I think Kyle Iroh and Kenny, my two boys there, Kyle Iroh at $2.05, Kenny's at $2.95. I think Iroh has got a fantastic match up for this game. My value plays that I like in this game from the Gold Coast Titans, AJ Brimson, as I said, he gets to actually play with a genuine seven, I think they could open Brimo up a little bit more, $4.10 for AJ Brimson in this one. The other one is Tommy Hazard and now he's moved into a starting role. Now I wouldn't surprise him if he does go back to the bench 90 minutes before kick off, because that's been the role that he sort of played over the last couple of years. I think Hazard and is a bit of a watch here, if he ends up playing, you know, 55, 60 minutes, which I probably doubt he will as a whole, but I'm not ruling it out realistically. I think there's value at him at $6.20, is a try scoring front row forward, he normally

9:15comes off the bench, he doesn't play huge minutes, but if he has transitioned into a big minute forward, I think he's definitely worth watching in this one. So Tommy Hazard and as my little smoky there, all right, let's move to game number two. We've got the Jamal Foggy to cup, the Manly Seagulls taking on the Canberra Raiders. This one's coming to you from four pints, that's at 7.35pm tonight. We've got a pretty tight affair here as far as the betting market goes. The Seagulls are favourites at $1.87, the Raiders $1.95 on Neds, which rattles me a little bit. I think the Raiders win this one. I know it's at Brookie, but Jesus, I found the Raiders and they've packed very, very hard to go past. You know, they've got new combinations, sure, but at the end of the day, so did the Manly Seagulls. Yeah, I think that's very interesting. Let's go through the team list. Tommy Turbo with the C next to his name for the first time for the Manly Seagulls. Jason Sarb and Lee Iopowade on the wings, Kohler and Garrick in the centres. Brooks at 5.8, Foggy, lines up against his former team at halfback. Taneolo Paseca in the front row with Takiyahu.

It's very interesting to see how Joey Walsh is used and when he's injected into this game, and if he is injected into this game, he'll be the 14. Joining him on the pine, Kobe Heatherington, Ethan Bullmore, Nathan Brown, Clayton and Brandon Wakeham. So I'm keen to see if they are going to give Jake Simkin a spell at some point. Do they throw Joey Walsh out there, or I thought Brandon Wakeham, he played Hooker in the Trials and looked really good. Maybe there's no reading into who's 14, who's 19, we'll wait and see for the Seagulls. All right, Ricky Stewart's Raiders. At fullback, K.O. Weeks on the wings, Tamala and Savage. Simmy Sussangi gets the nod at center over Maddy Tymico. Seb Chris is the other center, Ethan Strange at 5-8, Ethan Sanders, you know, his first run of 20-26 at halfback. Now remember, Ethan Sanders, he will play on the left, Ethan Strange will play on the right.

11:17So Strange is swapping sides this year, a very interesting watch there. Josh Papali and Joe Tarpane in the front row with Tommy Staling wearing jersey 9, Hudson Young on one edge, on the other edge, right edge, we believe, is Noah Martin, absolutely killed it in New South Wales Cup last year, we'll get back to him in a moment. And Corey Hawes broke big red in jersey 13. The bench for the Raiders, Jaden Braille gets the nod over Owen Paddy giving him some minutes in reserve grade, Zach Hosking playing through the middle, Atomari Ota, Nugam Morgan Smithies, Dane Laurie and Jed Stewart. That is Ricky Stewart's line up for round one here, Maddie Nicholson. He was on the extended. He has dropped out of that. He will be playing reserve grade today. So to me, I read that as Noah Martin has won the spot. It is all his and I look at that bench, Jaden Braille, Zach Hosking, who's playing through the middle, he said it all all preseason atomari Ota, Morgan Smithies, there isn't an edge player there. So I reckon there is every chance that we see Noah Martin go the distance and play 80 minutes in that one, which leads me to my first bet.

It is that he was playing on the left edge and the ball player on that edge was Ethan Sanders. They've had a fantastic combo over the last years, but they have split them up. I do wonder if there is a world where Hudson Young just follows Ethan's strange to the right. No, Martin and Sanders play on that side, but I think it's got more to do with defense. I think they're trying to put Sanders with Hudson Young a very good defender on that edge. So I think they will stay there. But no, Martin in 2024, he did play on the right edge for the Canberraiders in New South Wales Cup and did find there as well. So he can play both edges, but yeah, a try scrolling back row, who I think is really worth watching in this one. He's at $5 to cross against the Manly Seagulls. Other guys that I like in this game, I think at Brookfowl over, you have to give Manly respect as the betting markets have as well. And Lehigh Opel White, he's at $2.20, Turbos at $2.45 there for Manly, but yeah, my value

14:26play there, and I really like him, Noah Martin, I'll be having a little flutter on him this afternoon at $5 against the Manly Seagulls, so I don't think you're going to be too crash hot this year. I do think they'll put up a fight here today. So I think if the Raiders win, it will be a tight one. I think the Seagulls put up a fight in game one, but I just think the Raiders forward pack will be too strong for them. Can you see the influence of Jamal Foggedy in this game as well? I know that Tommy Jagger believes that he will be the difference in this one. So plenty to watch in this game, two huge games coming your way for Super Saturday, two absolute crackers last night was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the footy that we got yesterday, it was tremendous.
