On March 12, here's the latest out of Durham. Jacob and Isabel Rolloff from Little People Big World had a scare when their four-year-old son, Mateo, came down with respiratory sensitial virus, or R&E. The illness hit hard, landing them in the emergency room with his oxygen levels dipping to 80 and his heart rate spiking to 180. Isabel shared the tough night on Instagram, describing the fear of watching her little boy struggle to breathe. Thankfully, they got him home from a hospital earlier this week, and he's on the men now. Family rallied around them quick. Isabel's mother-in-law, Amy Rolloff, commented with prayers for a speedy recovery, hoping Mateo bounces back fast. The couple lives as renters on the Rolloff farm in Oregon, owned by Jacob's dad, Matt. Jacob works the land full-time, growing veggies and even 60,000 pounds of pumpkins last year while Isabel helps with the animals. Now they're focusing on home care amid sleep deprivation and farm prep for spring. Isabel looks ahead to garden time, summer fun, and community ties,
staying positive through the busy stretch. The Daily News Now is powered by our sponsor. Comfort, you can hear. Sound you can relax into, S-O-L-I-SOL-I-Pillow.com.
