Police are investigating a rolling shooting that happens Sunday evening, starting an overland park and ending with a crash in Prairie Village. They released an image of a black SUV, believed to be involved, and are asking nearby residents and businesses to review their surveillance footage from, around 6.45 to 7 pm. The chase began near West 99th Street in Roavenu, moved through spots like 95th and Ro, and wrapped up near Franklin Park at 87th and Ro. They were specifically looking for video of a red or maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee, with Kansas Plate 9103ACY that was tailing the SUV. Two women in the SUV were hurt in the attack. The driver had picked up a passenger in Kansas City when they noticed the Jeep following them. Shots rang out multiple times as they tried to get away, leading to the crash. Both have non-life-bredning injuries, and one was hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Prairie Village Police posted the request on Facebook Wednesday and provided a special

link and QR code for uploading any relevant clips. They're focusing on cameras along the route from Interstate 435 and Ro up to Somerset Drive and over to Stateline Road. If you live or work in the area, now's the time to check those recordings. You can also call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477 Overland Park Police at 913-344. 875-0 or Prairie Village at 913-64-26868, with TIPS. Stay safe out there.
