The chase began near West 99th Street in Roavenu, moved through spots like 95th and Ro, and wrapped up near Franklin Park at 87th and Ro. They were specifically looking for video of a red or maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee, with Kansas Plate 9103ACY that was tailing the SUV. Two women in the SUV were hurt in the attack. The driver had picked up a passenger in Kansas City when they noticed the Jeep following them. Shots rang out multiple times as they tried to get away, leading to the crash.
