Ricky Hatton's Tragic End: CTE & Unclear Intentions

He was found at his home in Hyde, greater Manchester, on September 14th, 2025. The inquest confirmed hanging as the cause of death, with no suspicious circumstances. Toxicology tests found more than twice the drink-drive limit of alcohol in his blood, along with traces of cannabis, but no recent cocaine use. The coroner noted he left no note and issued a narrative verdict, saying his intentions remained unclear due to the alcohol and CTE.
