Richardson Traded After Colts Pass on Option

This fourth overall pick from the 2023 draft requested a trade back in February, and now he's fully on the trade block with no extra, year locked in. Teams had until May 1st to decide on these first rounders, but for Richardson, that $22,500,000 price tag was a non-starter. His injury history, cat by recent eye surgery, made adding another season way too risky for any deal. Fans and analysts see this as the end of Richardson's time in Indy. The guy missed most of his 29 out of 51 possible games, with issues like concussions, shoulder, hip, back problems. Real fragile start to his career. On the field, he flashed promise with 21 total touchdowns, but struggled hard, completing just 50.6% of passes, even dipping, to a tame low, 47.7% last year.
