Richardson Traded After Colts Disappointment

Both sides have agreed to pursue a trade after his time there fell short of expectations. Over three seasons, the young pastor suited up for just 17 games. He managed 11 touchdown passes but also through 13 interceptions amid ongoing struggles. This year brought more setbacks. Richardson lost the starting spots at Daniel Jones out of training camp, then broke his orbital bone in a freak resistance band mishap last October. That sidelined him for the rest of 2025 and led the Colts to rely on 40-year-old Philip Rivers for three starts. Before the pros, Richardson lit it up at Florida as a red-shirt sophomore. He started all 12 games that year, throwing 17 touchdowns for 2,549 yards while rushing for nine more. With the Colts now eyeing a quarterback overhaul, Richardson s next destination could shake up the league this offseason.
