Rhyl Gang Trial: Sex Exploitation Ring

0:00On April 20th, a gang of men is on trial for raping teenage girls and supplying them drugs as part of a sex exploitation ring in real North Wales. Karen Affan Crown Court heard the accusations, Monday, with Mustafa Iqbal 43, Sha'olabatja 25, Muhammad Usman Arshad 36, Jazzwinder Singh 61, and Sarah Gray 53, all denying the charges against them. Prosecutors say Iqbal, a delivery driver and dealer, led the group as the main predator, targeting vulnerable girls already using cannabis on the streets back in spring of 2022. The victims, girls aged 14 to 16, were lured to homes, given more booze and drugs than assaulted with the men treating them like objects, for sex and exchange for narcotics. Iqbal faces 21 counts, including multiple rapes and assaults, while the others are charged with rape, trafficking for exploitation, and supplying cocaine or cannabis.
