RfRx - Secular Civics, featuring Cynthia McDonald

About this episode

RfRx - This week on RfRx, Cynthia McDonald returns to discuss Secular Civics. Cynthia is a social worker in the city of Chicago, and an advocate for many secular social causes including social and economic justice for Black Freedmen Descendants. She also works to promote health equity for marginalized groups, and to normalize Atheism in the Black Community. On this week’s episode, we will discuss a secular view of civic rights and responsibilities and consider the roles that non-religious folks can play in building a better society for everyone. Bring your questions for Cynthia and stick around for the hangout after the show.
