The rapture thinking isn’t Biblical. Not only did Paul not think this way but neither did Jesus, in fact none of the Biblical Authors thought this way. It started with an Anglo-Irish theologian, who in the 1830s invented the concept. Before John Nelson Darby imagined this scenario in the clouds, no Christian had ever heard of the rapture. the word "rapture"and even the idea of it simply doesn't appear anywhere in the Bible. The “rapture” is simply not part of the biblical picture. And, it often leads to problems today like a desire for escapism, and sometimes a lack of concern for this planet
