We’ve been watching Republicans endorsed by Trump lose all over the country, in special elections and in primaries. The latest being a special election for the Florida State House district that includes Mar-A-Lago.
So I thought, “what the heck? I might as well try to get my opponent endorsed by Trump.”
This video is part humor, part fundraiser, and part strategy. If, by some twist of fate, my video were to make it to Trump’s eyes and he endorses my opponent then I can run ads telling everybody that Trump endorsed him. I don’t think that can hurt me.

Hey President Trump, I wanted to make sure that you knew about the guy that I'm running against. His name is Ty Winner and he's the House Minority Leader in the Colorado Legislature. See, according to media reports from around here, he's been affiliated with the associated with the proud boys and other Christian nationalist white supremacist groups. So, I figured you'd want to know about him because of that. I mean, that's your thing, right? And also, we had a couple of people from a very small town who got arrested and convicted for that whole January 6th thing. And I don't know it for a fact, but I suspect he might have helped them get there to Washington. So, you kind of owe him for that. And one of the reasons I think that is because on January 10th, or excuse me, February 10th of last year, you'll really like this, Mr. Trump. On February 10th of last year, he led all of the Republicans and the state legislator
to literally, physically, turn their backs on a group of veterans who were talking about the J6 pardons. So, you know, all of that combined, I'm thinking that you really should endorse him for the November election. I think that would be a great thing, Mr. President.
