About this episode
Last year the Colorado legislature passed the Worker Protection Act. Governor Polis vetoed it, and the House was one vote short of being able to override that veto.
I helped organize a coalition of Colorado content creators to push for the bill and encourage people across the state to contact their legislators and the governor’s office. We came close, but not close enough.
This week my opponent, Ty Winter, voted against the Worker Protection Act again.
If I win this seat, the House will finally have the vote needed to override the governor’s veto the next time this bill comes forward.
Colorado workers deserve better.
