The charity stepped in to help the owner instead of pressing charges, recognizing her vulnerability, and they released more picks to shut down the doubters. Since then, the dogs got groomed, treated, and spread across centers in places like Nottingham and Hartfordshire. Adoptors are lighting up social media with glow-up shots, think Robbie chilling on a chair, decks bulking up with confidence in just three weeks, and Lily snuggling on the sofa like she owns the place. Volunteers shaved some under anesthesia, calling it the worst matting they'd seen. A few are still waiting for forever homes, including poodles, Eva and Teddy at the Ratcliffe Center, plus death and blind cocker spaniel Stevie with her.
