Red Wings Rally Past Predators

The Detroit Red Wings grabbed a 4-2 win over the Nashville predators at Bridgestone Arena. Albert Johansson delivered the go-ahead shorthanded goal in the second period to fuel their rally. The Wings lost starting goalie John Gibson to an upper body injury after he allowed one goal on 11 shots in the first period. Cam Talbot stepped in relief and made 18 solid saves to hold the lead. Alex Debrinkett and Lucas Raymond each notched a goal and an assist in the victory. Mason Ableton and Marco Casper handed out two helpers a piece, boosting Detroit's attack. Philip Forsberg and Jonathan Marche Assaults scored for Nashville, but Juiceros could only stop 27 shots. The predator sit at 27, 25, and 8 after the loss. Johansson snapped a long drought with a second goal of the season, first since January 12th. Debrinkett added an empty netter late to seal it as Talbot shut the door in the third.
