The Baltimore Ravens just made a big splash by trading two first-round picks to the Las Vegas Raiders for star-edge Russia Max Crosby. This marks the latest blockbuster deal in the NFL, ending a three-year drought since the massive trades for Russell Wilson and Dishon Watson back in. 2022. Earlier this week, teams also moved Saw Skarner and Micah Parsons in Swaps, involving two first-round picks each for the 2025 draft. These kinds of high-stakes moves for elite talent have been rare, but they grab headlines every time. While most of these trades fizzle out without much success, a few have paid off huge. The Los Angeles Rams traded for Matthew Stafford and Jalen Ramsey, then won the Super Bowl in 2021. That victory came at the cost of four first-round picks total, including extras used to grab Jared Goff years earlier.
