From the Daily News Now Network, this is NFL News Today, subscribe to keep up with every headline, every game. The Las Vegas Raiders have traded star-pass rusher, Max Crosby, to the Baltimore Ravens in one of the biggest deals of the NFL offseason. Baltimore sent over two first round picks, plus a 2026 first rounder and a 2027 first rounder to land the five-time pro. Buller Crosby steps in to shore up a Ravens defense that desperately needs help. Crosby brings elite production since entering the league in 2019, with nearly 76, more than 130 tackles for loss, and the most quarterback pressures in that time. He has four seasons with double-digit sex, including ten last year, despite missing the final two games with a knee injury. The Raiders finish just three and 14 last season, making the move a salary cap and talent reset for them. Meanwhile, Baltimore win eight and nine, missed the playoffs, and parted ways with their longtime coach.

Their pass rush managed only 36, the fewest in 15 years. Now with Crosby, the Ravens get their best edge rusher since Tarell Suggs. They are inheriting the final four years of his current deal, averaging about $29 million per season, which looks like a bargain given, his value. Experts expect Baltimore to quickly rework Crosby's contract, with more guarantees and bonuses to keep him long-term and match top defenders. This could lock in their push for the 2026 playoffs.
