Ravens' Shady Trade Move, Hendrickson Signing

The Baltimore Ravens recently backed out of a trade to acquire Las Vegas Raiders' past Russia, Max Crosby. The deal would have sent two first round draft picks to the Raiders. The Ravens said Crosby failed his physical exam while recovering from knee surgery. Speculation suggests the physical was just a convenient excuse. As Illustrated reporter Matt Verderaim thinks the Ravens pulled back after losing key players in free agency. Those included center, Tyler Linderbaum, Tiden Eisea likely, Punter Jordan Stout, Fullback Patrick Ricard, Safety Elohi Gilman and Running Back, Keaton Mitchell. Fans and analysts see it as a shady move that doesn't paint the Ravens in a good light. Even though they technically followed the rules, the timing felt off and left a bad impression across the league. The very next day, the Ravens signed defensive in Trey Hendrickson to a four-year contract.
