Rangers Secure Fourth Straight Win, Top Wild 4-2

The New York Rangers picked up their fourth straight win with a 4-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul. Goli Igor Shesterkin was outstanding, making 46 saves including 21 in the third period to hold off a late push. Vladislav Gabrikov led the Rangers with a goal and two assists. While Noah Laba, C. Oslov Schmellar, and Vincent Trochek also scored. Adam Fox chipped in with two assists as the Rangers improved to six wins, one loss, and two ties in their last nine games. For the Wild, Matt Bowdy kept his three-game goal streak alive, and Danila Yurov added a tally late in the third. Minnesota outshot New York 42-9 over the final two periods, but couldn't overcome the early deficit. The Rangers built a 3-1 lead in the second period with quick strikes from Schmellar and Trochek. That set the tone despite the wild shot advantage and ended Minnesota's five-game point streak.
