The Los Angeles Rams kicked off their offseason with some smart moves before free agency even started. They traded for corner-back Trent McDuffy, resigned tied-in Tyler Higgby to a two-year deal and gave safety cam curl a three-year extension. They also tendered three exclusive rights. Free agents, wide receiver Xavier Smith, kicker Harrison Mevis and Lyman Justin Dettich. The big splash was the trade for McDuffy, which cost the 29th overall draft pick, two later-round selections, and a future third-rounder.
