Rams Sign Jaylen Watson, Boosting Secondary

The Los Angeles Rams are bolstering their secondary by signing Cornerback Jalen Watson from the Kansas City Chiefs. This comes just days after they traded for Chiefs star Trent McDuffy, now the highest paid cornerback in NFL history. Watson agreed to a three-year contract worth $51 million, with $34 million guaranteed. A California native, Watson started his college career at Ventura College on the West Coast before moving on. In his rookie year, he made headlines with a 99-yard pick-six return against the Los Angeles Chargers. Last season with the Chiefs, Watson played 15 games, recording two interceptions, four pass breakups, two sacks, and 64 tackles.
