Rams Lock in Tyler Higbee with Two-Year Deal

The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to a two-year deal with tied-in Tyler Higby worth up to $8 million. The 33-year-old was set to hit free agency next week, but the team moved quickly to lock him in. Earlier this week, coach Sean McVeigh made it clear the Rams wanted Higby back if he planned to keep playing. Before reports now confirm the contract is done, Higby joined the Rams as a fourth-round pick back in 2016, and this marks his fourth deal with the franchise. He holds all their tied-in records with 386 receptions, 3,949 yards, and 27 touchdowns. Injuries slowed him down recently, limiting him to just 13 games over the past two seasons combined. He tore his ACL during the wildcard loss to the Lions in January 2024, and missed time with an ankle issue in 2025.
