Raiders Trade for All-Pro CB Taron Johnson

The Las Vegas Raiders made a smart move late Sunday night by trading a sixth round draft pick to the Buffalo Bills for former all pro cornerback Terran, Johnson in a seventh round selection. The 29 year old slot specialist, who turns 30 in July, stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 192 pounds. He's a fourth round pick out of Weber State with a strong track record as one of the league's top nickel defenders. Johnson has played over 1,000 snaps each season from 2020 to 2023, racking up 31 pass breakups and three interceptions. His career totals include 57 breakups, six picks and 572 tackles, plus solid run defense with a low missed tackle rate. Even in the playoffs, he added a touchdown on defense.
