Quiet, please. Quiet, please. Quiet, please. The mutual broadcasting system presents Quiet, please. Which is written and directed by Willis Cooper, and which features Ernest Tappel. Quiet, please. Quiet is called the room where the ghosts live.

No. No, I won't let you take me out of the house. No, I'm going to stay right here. I'm sorry, Doctor. But as long as we've got to get you to a hospital, not stop being a fool. I won't. I'm going to die anyway and I don't want to die in an ambulance. Some were out on an icy road between here and town. I'm sorry, that's fine. I can't do anything for you. Can't I? Maybe I don't. Not you to do anything for me, Doctor. I'm going to call the ambulance. Oh, my telephone. Of course. The telephone isn't working. Oh, that's right, I forgot. That's funny, isn't it? What? What a couple of days a snow can do. No lights, no heat. No water. Just like the days when they left here. When? Who's it here? Ghosts. Open your mouth. What for? The moment. I'm not raving, Doctor.

Let's see anything. Feel anything? Sure. Worse than it was? No. I didn't want to be able to. Good thing I decided to stop him for a cup of coffee. What if they're here all by themselves? Well, anyway. What if I can help them? I can't help them. Stop that nonsense. They're having a lot of fun. Oh, I know. I don't really have the pain on them, too. Okay. I could take you to the hospital in my car. No. And I think I will. Laurence, what got you into him? What do you want to die for? Great for Laurence. Oh, not yet. There's nothing wrong with you. You've been the happiest. You've got everything to live for. No. Then you're going to shoot yourself. Yep. Where did you get this pistol, anyway? Yeah. Didn't you know it was loaded? Sure.

That pot of a bone has probably been in that for 50 years. Oh, man. What? Longer than that. Well, there's no telling what kind of infection you can get from that bullet. I don't know. I don't know yet, Laurence. Let's see if that's allowed in. The high temperature, huh? Yeah, it's just behind. I guess you're a lot going to the hospital after all, Laurence. I don't know. I talked to that doctor. I couldn't believe it. But that's the high temperature. That's right. But I told you I wasn't going to be moved anyway. So you see? Who gave you this pistol? A British girl. What British girl? His name's on the lot, please. Lieutenant, Colonel, Robert Charles, Green, 17th Regiment, what? 1774. Ancestral, the father gave it to you?

No. Give it to me himself. Yesterday. Laurence, how could he? He's one of the ghosts. I see. Oh, you don't. Hello, hilarious doctor. He really is. Not a... Just relax, no? Of course. I'm going to die anyway. Isn't that so? I'm afraid it is. Good. Why did you do it? Well, I'm not sure whether I did it out of practice or not. I wanted to. But maybe it was an accident. Or maybe... Or maybe why? Maybe one of the ghosts.

No, I don't think so. I guess it was an accident. I'm glad though. But why? On the count of Melanie. Melanie, Melanie, who? Who's Melanie? Melanie is a girl who lived here a hundred and seventy years ago. What? And her still is here. It's going to be a bit, Doctor. You want me to give you some more walking? I guess not. I want to tell you things. Well... You won't believe me, of course. I think my mind's wondering. Not you? Well, I... What difference does it make? That's right. Nothing makes any difference now.

It takes so long time. Nine? That's me. After well, we had the time, huh? Pretty soon, now me goes to... See Melanie. I'd like a little drink of brandy. Well, just a second. Uh, you're not taking it easy that nice. What brandy? Hmm. I wish I could take some along. It's good. I wish I could do something before you learn something thrown in, aren't we? Sure. I mustn't leave. I couldn't come back, you know. I have to stay here. I don't understand that. I have to stay here, I said. What? Hmm.

What was I talking about? The ghost. Oh, yes. So I tried to keep house like it wasn't the old AC. All by myself. Been fun. And then noises. Very noises. What kind of noises? People beating on door, rattling a latch every night. I'm not afraid, Doctor. No, I'm not. I got up all over the house. I just stopped after a while. It wasn't a dream, or a dream. Beating on a door someplace. Always sounded like it came from right over there. You see? Listen to any door there, Laura. That's what I thought. My hands are cold. I'll go up the thigh. I don't know. I know what it is.

I know what's time, huh? Have I? No, Laura. I've got much time, Laura. And I have buried. I shut your eyes, or you can see what I saw. I mean, I didn't see it see because it was dark. So you shut your eyes. You feel the way I felt. Huh? Hi. All that learned. I... I walked over the house, lights on. No sound. No hammering on door. No door. I turned off the lights at the start again. Right over there. I turned on the lights. No door. No noise. And then I got enough of you. I turned off the lights again. I walked over where the sound comes from. And there is a door.

And I... I think I hear a woman crying in a footstep, trying to chill being shut around. I thought I wasn't scared. At night. Then I was there. And we scared too. Fighting. Or whether there isn't any door. And there's somebody on the other side. But that's the outside wall of the house, Laura. No. What? There's a room there. The room. Whether. Ghosts. You see? No, I don't. I didn't know it too. Got you, I shot. Yes. If... If you could hear the noise, like I heard it. Random pounding. People pushing their shoulders against the lock door.

And I could smell smoke. You see? I didn't know about the ghosts then. Well, how do you know now? I'm... I'm trying to tell you. I saw it. Keep your eye shut. I want you to feel the light. I felt... the ambience. I reached for the lights again. I turned them on. Nothing happens just nothing. Except pounding on the door. The floor now. And the woman crying. And I hear a scream. A scream. A scream. A scream. A scream. A scream. Ghosts. No, I heard a voice again. I heard a scream. A scream what's she said. A scream. Ghosts. Ghosts. Ghosts. Ghosts. I heard a scream. That's why they were pounding. She was coughing. And I take off the key. Like the door open?

And then.. came up The lights came back on There wasn't any door There wasn't anybody in the room with me And I heard something Somebody walking across the floor down the hall So they turned down while I took off my steps down to my room When we stopped there Because the door to my room closed and somebody locked it You dreamed that? No! It was locked from the inside So was every other door in the house That couldn't be kind of doors Open your eyes and try the doors Go ahead, lie inside Go ahead, I'll keep on talking You have to believe me

Go ahead So what did I do? I lay down here on the bed and put the lights on I tried to think and nothing made me sense I got up and I tried to answer the door It was unlocked So I went outside I had some crazy idea Maybe there wasn't room there There wasn't a door But there were footprints in the snow Some men's footprints And some girls This last note covered them all Well What about the noise doctor? They're locked In the inside Did you hear anything? Did you? Well, I...

I thought I heard someone move here To find a way to somebody Whatever was probably my imagination I'm getting too tired No, no So I came back in and I sat down The night I hardly noticed that the lights were off again And then I heard something else And I said, who's that? The woman's voice Answered me in the back I knew Well, who was Melanie? I was a lady I was talking time and time From the soldiers who took the darkness I took care I took care And I took care And I took care

And I took care And they could be surprised But I wasn't very The lady was a doctor She looked right on telling me how Morris was alive Probably hid the officers And I was expecting them all Spired on Then the lights left go away, you see And I was left alone to bring food to the poor soldiers And there was a night when I took their food with me And when I would go from the room I found the door to be locked From the other side The food was now the smirk of the fire The woman had set fire for the house to destroy the room And we'd be upon the door But it's not a day of And so We'd perished in the fire I and the British officers And there was none to roll our feet And for our sins We are bound forever to this house Although I have not seen as a very great man

And I would thank you for releasing us from that room For so many times we have cried out That no one would open the door And I opened the door but now old My doors are locked against me Yes They say it is very hostile And no man can open the door again I think we'll see about that This room is going Well, I'm not going away I should be sorry when you go away You want? You are released I'm grateful Thanks I think they'd be grateful too They are soldiers And they have not forgotten the manner of your death This is their revenge But no man shall be able to come Well, that's fine I should be chased out of my house where but you're ghost This is so much here How do you feel about it?

I... I could wish you could always be here So... Yes, this is here But it cannot be And that... Unless one It cannot be If I turn down the lights Good I see The eyes of a living cannot stand What did you look like? I... I didn't know I was here And I was here with me And I was not very tall And my feet were very small And your clothes My side had a gun And it was blue Like my eyes And there was a cap of lace for my gun

And I was struck with a sudden impulse to see this girl With a black hair in the carpeted dress Matched her eyes And I jumped up and snapped the lights on Her room was empty And so... I knew I'd been dreaming Oh, cool And when I wasn't dreaming my friend She came to me the next night And the next... Oh, it's so cool And I died now Is this what it feels like? You take a little sip of this You got it? I'm much longer Well... I see a friend I own myself In love

With a ghost Is... With me And she got to meet up And we talked about it so much There must be a way out And there couldn't be a way out And the others kept telling her They wanted me to ask you to go to them But... I'm sorry You go to them They couldn't have been stayed It was the only way But she told me they said no They made it back between themselves And made it out of order And the time was getting short They were sorry they said And then Last night She came to me again When the smoke was burning They burned deeper around the windows And I said Melanie, I can't go now Can't we see that? And...

She said I have spoken again with the Camilla And what did he say? He will come to you, he said And heart He will not speak to the living But what did he say? I don't know He said he will come to you Where? To nice To speak Same as you were calling her I have been there To present This is the Robert Schaud's grave Of his majesty Seven things that he went to put past This year But calling her We should make To present it Come to you And to say to you That he has taken

Come tell with it Hello officer No, do not speak This year This year The fellow officers Have come to A decision In the matter of yourself They honor you With your devotion coming And they beg you To supply you The food Of a sure meal Come and then Residant in the house Come here Come here Come Come Come Come Come Come

Come Come Hey They turned into lights They turned into lights And looked as if they were going to come Precious Venomash rada Vladimir Are you going to come to me? Caught you Now that's you Talk to it. What do I love to do? What's all brave enough to do? Tell me I love you. I'm new. Try. No. No, wait. I didn't do it. No, I didn't. Not sure. Not sure. Morning, honey. Instead, stay here. Boop. Short. Spirits flicking.

Don't hurt wise. Said, hello, girl. Said, girl, thankfully. I haven't got courage enough. I always love her, girl, I said. Said, here's your pistol. I haven't got one. Please. Man. Hey. Wake up here.
