But in October, a car crash on his way home from practice changed everything. The accident left Kwe with a broken left femur, damaged to his right knee, a brain bleed, and other injuries. He woke up in the hospital with no memory of the wreck, but recognized his family right away. Early reports called it, season ending, with doctors doubting a return before January.
