Hello, and welcome back. We are so glad to get into the verse of the day today for 12 verse 14. Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14, which talks about pursuing peace and holiness, which is so abundant and so important in our life. Holiness means to be set apart, and the most holy of holy person is God Himself, and that's why this verse is going to sort you, going to encourage you, going to move you, move believers, emphasizing the importance to live a life that has the character of peace and holiness. And it's going to bring so much goodness and mercy to other people's lives. You will be a blessing to others. But don't you want to be a blessing? You want to be holy, you want to be peaceful, and you want to learn how to do it in Jesus' name. This first sit within a broader discussion that encourages believers to endure the hardships, endure the pain, the suffering, and also to overcome in the name of Jesus, and strive for discipline, and strive for righteousness.

And this draws us on an imaginary racetrack that believes that before us, which requires perseverance. Perseverance is key in our relationship with God. Perseverance will bring you a long way and will grant you so much good things in your life, and that's why we want to learn to persevere through the hardships and the name of Jesus by His power. Chloe Hong, hello, welcome. Praise the Lord for each and every one of you. I'm going to turn on the chat, and I'm going to say, hey, to all of you guys, for you are part of this community, and I'm so glad to be able to see each and every one of you guys. So, praise the Lord. Yes, it's a F out you honey. Welcome, praise God. Welcome. So, Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14 reminds us to pursue peace and holiness. Isn't that right, Leo? Isn't it important for us to pursue His righteousness and become more like the Lord our God?

We got a church to learn more about Him, to learn more about Jesus, our Savior, our living Father, amen? Praise the Lord. Welcome, Troy. We are so excited. So, Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14, it says to pursue, to go for, to go for, pursue peace with everyone, and that holiness without which no one will see the Lord. So, to strive for peace, strive for peace within the community of the Christian's body, so that we will not be disunified, the devil wants us to be like port apart, to go against each other, to fight. But God is the ultimate unifier He brings us together, and that's why we are in His presence today to say, yeah, you know, we're not going to fight, we're going to pray. We're going to go to the Lord in humility and let Him speak to us, and we're going to meet an obedient to what He has to say to us, which is to make every effort to live in peace with everyone, and to be holy in the name of Jesus.

Not holiness, no one will see the Lord, and that's why your holiness is so important, so crucial in your life, because you are a light of the world, and God Jesus is the ultimate light, and when we follow the ultimate light, then we will shine brighter, and brighter in the world that is shining, that is turning darker and darker. Oh, praise the Lord, for He is good, maybe I can connect this too, I forgot that man, the microphone, microphone make a difference, so the book of Hebrews that we're digging into from Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14, let's make this work, let's fix the microphone. I want you guys to have the best audio and the best quality that I can offer you guys, so you may be blessed in the name of Jesus. So, I hope this is working, it looks like it's working, the book of Hebrews is written to a group of Jewish Christians, they were facing persecution, they were facing violence and challenges with their faith, and this passage is a part of a larger section where the author compares the Christian life to a race that requires discipline, focus, and endurance.

As Christian, we must follow God with a disciplined heart, what you do in your private time by yourself is who you truly are, so if you pray by yourself in the morning, during your private time, then you are a prayer warrior. If you do play computer, then you're a gaming architect or something, if you binge watch, then you're probably just a consumer, you're a consumer, but then you know God called us to be producers, just like the fruit of the Holy Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, forgiveness, faithfulness, gentleness, these are produced by the fruit of the Spirit. And so we can rely on Him and know that when we live a life that is focused on the Lord, focusing on the Almighty God who created you and you endured through the hardships, man, God is going to bless you, so much, and I know that you would love to live a life of success, that's what so many people tell me, a life that is fulfilling, that is meaningful, that is purposeful, and that is only found in the Lord.

In the Lord Jesus Christ, for God is good, amen, so the previous verse discusses God's disciplinary action towards His children, meant for their growth and righteousness. He said here, therefore lift up your drooping hands, and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths, straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. He wants to strengthen you, in the name of Jesus, He wants to empower you, and allow you to do more than you can ever imagine, praise the Lord, He wants to increase you. But that first, the secret to increase is that you must decrease, you must become humble, with a humble heart, your approach God is a God, you are all powerful, you are all knowing, you are everywhere, and you are everything that I need. So Lord, let me tap into your power, and the power of the Holy Spirit enters you, anoint you, and say, hey, you are my child, and I will guide you, I will be a friend, I will be a wonderful counselor, praise the Lord, praise God, amen, you came from TikTok, from YouTube, wherever you are, we are praising the Lord together, amen.

So Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14 serves at the practical application of how you should live your life in response to God's discipline, and in anticipation for the heavenly reward, that your heaven is in heaven, your treasure is in heaven, your rewards are in heaven. And those things will never rot, never rust, never go to waste, for it is safe and secured, but by the things of the world, all these things we see around us is temporary, it goes away one day, and so we must remember our Heavenly Father and His reward for you, amen, amen, praise the Lord. So Hebrews chapter 14 says, to pursue, to strive for peace, when you strive for peace with who? Everyone, your enemies, your family, your community, your classmates, your spouse, make peace, and making peace doesn't say, oh, you got to be besties again, you got to get along with each other again, no, it means to forgive them, and don't hold that grudge against them.

To say, I forgive you, I will let you go, I will be the bigger man today, and every day, just like God with the bigger man in our life, to forgive us, to make us saved in the name of Jesus, by His stripes, you are healed, by His blood, you are covered, and made white as snow, isn't that amazing. So pursue peace with everyone, just like God, pursue peace with us, God pursued, He's actually for your peace, and the ultimate peace that you can receive, that it's only from God Himself, true peace, true hope, true salvation, true joy, that is from our Heavenly Father, so pursue peace with everyone, just like God has given us peace in our life. And the holiness without which no one will see the Lord, so if you pursue holiness, you pursue to be set apart from the world, then that's going to make a big difference, then you will be a light in the world and point others to the Heavenly Father, who loves each and every one here.

Praise the Lord, for God is good, and He will never let us down, amen. So, number one point is to pursue peace, the command to live in peace with everyone, which is a call for you to have integrity and harmony with other people. When you have peace with others, it's so much nicer than having beef and anger and things going against each other, it's so much nicer to be at peace, isn't it right? And this is not merely talking about just avoiding conflict or actively seeking and fostering reconciliation and unity within our communities, families, and with others. Oh, oh, it says, but actively seeking reconciliation, peace making, and unity within our communities, families, and others. It mirrors Jesus' teaching on peace making, for He is the peacemaker. So, when we rely on our peacemaker, man, we will be able to help others find peace in their life, amen? Praise the Lord.

So, it involves you striving to have peace with other people, and I know in the name of Jesus, you are able to achieve peace within your life. That peace is from our Heavenly Father, and it mirrors Jesus' teachings on peacemaking and love for neighbors, and love for enemies, as a foundational pillar of your Christian life. It takes peace, takes forgiveness. Praise the Lord. Number two, pursuing holiness. So, pursue peace, pursue holiness. Holiness is being set apart. Holiness is what God is. He is holy because He is without blemish, without sin. He is the good God Almighty, praise the Lord, and holiness is not just a moral purity, but it's set apart for God's purpose. Are you set apart for God's purpose? This involves a transformation in your character and your actions to reflect God's nature. Holiness is both a status granted to you as a believer through Christ and a condition to strive for in your daily life, amen? Hallelujah.

It is a long life, long learning, a process of becoming more like Jesus. It doesn't end. It doesn't happen overnight. It takes time, but you read the Word of God, you dig into it, you stay rooted in prayer, and worship in Him, you focus on building His community and loving Him through there, and grow in Him. Man, that is pursuing holiness. Doesn't that sound great? It's going to change your life forever, and then you have to just continue pursuing peace and holiness. If you got a sleep, you got a sleep, and I know I tuned in really late, like right now, it's 10.52 here in California. That means all the way in East Coast, it is to three hours difference, so one something, almost one o'clock, wow, or two. Wow, but thank you for joining me. And the last point is the necessity of holiness. Then I will go through some examples and application. So the necessity of holiness, the phrase without holiness, no one will see the Lord.

The opposite of holiness is wickedness. When there is wickedness in the world, and people are just evil and doing bad things, then they will not be able to see the Lord. That means they will not be able to see the work of God happening in this place. So then we must seek Him and pursue holiness so that we can let God's light shine brighter. It's not about earning salvation through your works, because you cannot earn through money, you cannot pay your way to heaven, you cannot work your way to heaven. Your salvation is given to you freely by the blood of Christ, by Him laying His life down for you. And yes, He is good. And so it reflects your truth, God's truth, that you have genuine faith, and you continue to pursue Him and love Him and seek to honor God in all aspects of your life.

Mentally, physically, relationally, spiritually, emotionally, all areas of your life being transformed, isn't that great? Amen, that is amazing. We praise the Lord. Praise the Lord for He is good. So for application, guys, you have to access personal reflection, always reflect on what you are your day-to-day life. Sometimes you got to journal, sometimes you got to say, hey, God, this really wasted my time. This, really, I would just been watching, I was just gaming, I was just watching the series and just just pointing at the end. I have to quit. I have to stop. Lord, please set me free. Lord, give me a way to replace that with something even better. For example, what drives me to share the Word of God with you here with you, KJ, is discipline, is because I love the Lord, is because this is what He called me to do.

And I would not be doing this if I was stuck in my old habits. I would just be playing my computer and also wasting my time and doing things that are meaningless. But by the grace of God, He set me free from those things that helped me down. And I know you can set you free from your addiction, from the things that you are going through. I know God had the power to lift you up higher above you. Those just dark, dark moments, the isolation I've been there, the pain I've been there. Oh, Jesus has been there. He has been rejected ever since He was born. So we must recognize that God is working and He is not sleeping and He knows what you are going through. So by the grace of God, He can help you become more holiness and find true peace in your life. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord.

So search, self-reflection, personal reflection. You have to access areas in your life where peace and holiness are lacking. Are there relationships that need to be reconciled in your life? Are there habits or attitudes that are not reflective of God's holiness? And for me, I had beef back then. But then by the grace of God, God healed and mend it and also allowed me to meet up one-on-one with the person who I had beef with and then forgive them and say, Hey, God loved you. God cared for you. And that Christian that brothers and Christ may we strive for holiness and we may we strive to lift His name on high, giving Him thanks and praise for everything. Amen, KJ. For He is good. So where do you need that reconciliation? Could be a brother or sister in Christ, can be a family, can be someone in your community. Maybe you just need to pray to God, Lord, let me forgive them.

I forgive them. May you take it away, that burden, that grudge, that hatred. May you be lifted high and just take it away. This is my burden. He said, come to me, all you who are weary and I will give you rest. He said, lay down your burdens and I will give you rest. Amen. So this habit and attitude that you have must be changed, must be changed and habits are not easy to break. I know that because I had really bad habits in my life. But by the grace of God, He will let you overcome in the name of Jesus and let you be able to continue striving for holiness. Amen. So the second thing is community engagement and I love this. I love this because when you are building community and engaging in community that loves the Lord that is Bible in Christ centered, Christ in the mind, relations and mission, then that's going to help heal your heart.

It's going to give you community and lead you out of isolation. Too many people are in isolation and hurt. I've been isolated for years straight, gaming my life away. It's not easy. But when you pursue the Lord and you truly love Him, then you are going to want to instill this in your heart. To build His kingdom. We are not here to build our own castle for our own comfort. We are here to build the kingdom of God. Think bigger. Think for the nation. Think for the world. Not just for yourself, for your family, but bigger. So here I am to help. I say there is a nation inside of me and you might not get it right now, but there is a nation inside of me. That means God has blessings and that is inside me that needs to get out and bless other people as well.

And then there is a nation inside you as well if you truly believe so. That is what he told Abraham. There is a nation. Great. You are going to be a great nation. Amen. What to do? How to dominate in a weak nation? You got to be a self-educator. You got to educate yourself with the word of God starting first by seeking the word of God. And then you continue seeking God and educating yourself because formal education will make you a living or maybe difficult to make you a living this day and age but self-education will make you a fortune. And so you know Jesus is the greatest leader of all time and Jesus is the greatest entrepreneur of all time and if you want to learn kingdom success and business success, Jesus is the way.

Jesus is the one we should be learning from and Jesus is the way the truth of life no one can be through the Father except through Him. Praise the Lord. So as we are engaged in building his kingdom, building community, we are going to involve mediation. There is going to be beef. There are going to be things that need to be mediated. Like for me I am a pastor and I have youth that I love them so much. I have to be patient, I have to care for them and pray for them and maybe I have to reach out to them more. And that is something that is a struggle because I'm naturally they think I'm an extrovert. I am extroverted but I'm also a homebody. I love being at home and I love just reading, meditating on the word. But God says it's important to build community, right? Strive for holiness, strive for peace in your life, amen? And then the next one is spiritual discipline to commit yourself to practice holiness within your life.

With prayer, pray, pray, don't stop praying, pray every day for that is your way of communicating with the Almighty God and reading the word of God, fasting and confessing to God your sins. And then he will set you free. If he has not already, he set you free. Freedom is found in the Lord of God. You are free in the name of Jesus. You are free from the burdens of your sins, of your shame, of your regret, of your anxiety, of your depression. You are free in the name of Jesus. And these disciplines, it draws you closer to God. It transforms you from the inside out. Isn't it so beautiful what God does for us? For he is good. And sometimes these bondages could last for years. One of the bondages that helped me down was 10 years ago. And it was only just three or four months ago when I went on a cruise for a leadership conference and I met this guy that was my roommate before.

And then he had beef with me. And I was known as a guy who was arguing with him and the dad was like, you, you are arguing with my son. And I'm like, that's me. And then 10 years later he's told me members. I guess that's what I'm known for. Maybe in that community now. But I'm a new man. I'm a new creation. The old is gone. The new has come. And the same for you. You are a new creation. The old is gone. For given for you. I saved. And now you are a new creation. And so this beef I had with him on that four or five day cruise. I was able to sit down with him and then talked with him, play with him and forgive him and give him a big hug. But you, my brother, let's continue doing ministry together and love the Lord. I got with all our heart, mind and soul and give him all praise. Amen. For he is good. So then he boost chapter 12 verse 14 says to pursue peace with everyone and the holiness. For without holiness no one will be able to see our Lord.

Or another translation is make every effort to live in peace with everyone and be holy. Without holiness no one will see the Lord. You see you are the light of the world and you are called to make peace. God not to fight back not to do revenge but to show God a gap and wondrous and unconditional love that he has for us for humanity. For he is good. Amen. So this verse is a pivotal verse reminding you to live a life of holiness, a peace. And this is the great that you can live a life of peace, praise the Lord. And it caused you to a higher standard of living in the world. In the world which is marked by conflict and more compromise, compromise, compromise, you know pursuing for peace and holiness is counter-cultural.

It is counter-cultural peace, holiness. Amen. So when you follow the Lord, people are going to be like you crazy. You ain't right, something off about you. But then you can have a testimony and say hey, I am saved, I am blessed and highly favored by the Lord my God who forgave me so I can forgive you too. And we can make peace and we can be friends and I want to share with you the Heavenly Father who loves you and cares for you. Amen. So it is through living for striving for holiness and peace where the reality of gospel comes true and visible for others around you. So let you may we therefore make every effort to reflect the holiness of our Lord Jesus Christ in doing so. We draw close to him and illuminate the path for others to follow. Amen. For he is good.

And this is so important, the gospel of God, which is that he created you to have an intimate relationship with him. But because Jin came into the world and broke his apart, we cannot get to him on our own power. No matter how much we worked, how much money we made, whatever good work we cannot buy our way to heaven to God. But God saw love the world that he sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross and buried for three days after living a perfect and thinless life that we can on live. And he was buried for three days and then resurrected after that three days. Defeated sin and that in victory, victory is yours. My Lord, my God, praise the Lord for you again. Amen. So now I am unashamed of the gospel for he is good. He is amazing. He is victorious. And when you are on team, Jesus, you are victorious as well. Amen. Praise the Lord for he is good.

So if you want to step Jesus into your life today, pray this prayer with me. Holy Father, I am broken and I am not perfect. I am a sinner. And I need to save you in my life. Jesus, you are that savior. So Lord, I commit my life to you all the days of my life. I commit to praying to you, to reading the Word of God and worshiping you every day and pursuing holiness and peace in my life. Lord, I trust you with all my heart in Jesus' motoli name. Amen. Have you prayed that prayer? Type Amen. Type Amen. Percy Jackson. Yes, I know that show. That's cool. Victory is ours. And thank you, Jesus. And when you are victorious, you know, God leads us to glory, to glory. That means we are not glory to failure, but glory to glory, victory to victory, not victory to last defeat, victory to victory and breakthrough to breakthrough.

And you know, a lot of people need breakthrough today. And one day, as you continue following him, you learn, man, you become carriers of breakthrough and people come to you for breakthrough in your life. Isn't that great? Amen. A Bradley, praise the Lord. Alexander, praise God. Creep, creep, creep, see, keep see, keep see. Robert, KJ, praise God, for he is good. Thank you guys for joining me. And I have to work on some videos and create more contents so that I can draw in more crowd and then praise the Lord and preach His Word. And thank you for joining me on this journey. And I hope to see you guys in the future. Praise the Lord. Amen. Amen. May God bless you. Be with you. May He keep you and watch over you. Dear Lord, we pray for everyone under the sound of my voice that you would bless them.

Keep them. Watch over them and continue giving them wisdom, understanding knowledge. Lord, you have good plans for us for each one of us. We love you God. In Jesus, most holy name. Amen. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. Have a good night. Have a great night. I'll go to God for He is victorious. Amen, Michael. Pack girl. Vlog. Hello. Welcome. Yes. For He is good. He is wonderful. Praise the Lord. Thank you. Yeah. We had like 400 people on like 30 minutes. And then we had 42 people on TikTok. Yeah. It's okay. And then I bet YouTube. You guys are dominating. I'm so proud of you guys. Thank you so much for your support, for your love. And you know, I'm going to try to continue serving the Lord best I can. You know, the journey just begun. And we're we have a long way to go. So praise the Lord. I see you guys next time. Amen. Amen.
