Pure Vitamins Recalls Dangerous Supplements

A Tampa-based company called Pure Vitamins has recalled three over-the-counter sexual enhancement supplements, because they contain hidden prescription. Drugs. These products include Red Bull Extreme, Blue Bull Extreme, and Bonerbear's Honey. The issue is they have undeclared sildenafil from Biagra and Tidalafil from Sialis, which are not safe for unsupervised use. These ingredients can dangerously lower blood pressure when mixed with nitrates and drugs like nitroglycerin. That's a big risk for folks with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart conditions. The company admits in its recall notice that these should only be used under a doctor's watch. Pure Vitamins says it's just a distributor, not the maker. The business runs out of a house owned by its CEO, Dr. Kareem Issa. He surrendered his Florida medical license back in 2006, but still holds one in New Jersey. If you bought these, return them to the seller for a full refund.
