Providence College Celebrates Athletic Excellence

0:00On April 28th, Providence College just wrapped up their 65th annual All Sports Gala on April 27th, bringing together over three. Hundreds student athletes, staff, and admins to celebrate the 2025-2026 season, they handed out big awards, inducted new members into the Letterwinner Society, and saluted graduating stars with a special reception. Top honors went to sophomore John Mustard, from men's ice hockey, as male athlete of the year for team sports, racking up 17 goals, and 12. Assist to snag an NCAA tournament bid. Elliott Pew, also a sophomore in cross-country and trek, took individual male honors after breaking four minutes in the mile and earning all BIG. EAST nods. On the women's side, junior softball slugger Cameron Dunn, and grad student basketball guard Sabo Guy, shared team sports female athlete of the year. Dunn smashed a program record 15 homers to lead the fires atop BIG standings, while Guy averaged nearly 16 points and earned rare.

1:05First team honors. Junior track star Mavonio, grabbed individual female honors with three program records and all America status. Several graduating seniors, shown with character awards, like Keralaverty earning the Paul Connolly for sportsmanship in track and cross-country. Phillips-Petabek, taking the Mal-Brown and Hockey, and Anna Faust, from soccer-naving to, for service, and impact. Others like Charlie Dickerson and soccer, and Cory Floyd Jr. and basketball, got nods for quiet excellence in leadership. Letterwinner's society added dozens from field hockey through golf and trek, marking standout careers across 20 sports. Fires Athletics stay strong, building legacies one gala at a time.
