Prince Andrew has vacated Royal Lodge, the $40 million mansion in Windsor Great Park, where the 66-year-old Prince lived for more than 20 years. He signed a 75-year lease in 2003 and moved in after major renovations the following year. This 31-room estate dates back to the early 1800s and served as a cherished retreat for past royals. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother spend much time there with their young daughters, including future Queen Elizabeth II. The property overflowed with family milestones from informal gatherings captured in famous paintings to the Queen Mother's death there on March 30, 2002. Andrew raised his daughter's Beatrice and Eugenie on site and it hosted Eugenie's wedding reception in 2018 plus other celebrations. Pressure from King Charles grew amid scrutiny over Andrew's Epstein links and lease costs, which included an upfront $1.3 million, plus 10 million in fixes,

but lower in after. Charles offered Frogmore Cottage in 2024, but Andrew held out until titles were stripped and eviction hit in October 2000, 25. Now Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson are clearing out under tense conditions before shifting to Marsh Farm on the Sandering Hammer State.
