Pressure Points: A Tad Predictable Podcast

It's game week 34 and you know what happens.

It's time for another brand new episode of Attab predictable.

And as we enter game week 34, Manchester City are now officially on top of the English Premier League.

Same amount of wins as Arsenal on 21.

Same amount of draws as Arsenal with 7.

Same amount of losses as Arsenal with 5.

Where the difference comes in is in goal difference.

And not just goal difference, specifically goals scored.

Because goal difference, they both have 37.

That's a plus 37 score in goal difference.

But Arsenal have scored 63 and conceded 26.

Manchester City have scored 66 but conceded 29.

Could it get any closer than that?

Those are the fine margins that face the two teams on top of the Premier League at this present point in time.

But not both of them are playing this week and in the Premier League.

Manchester City have FA Cup semi-final duties to take care of.

So we'll see whether or not Arsenal can land a psychological blow after a disappointing couple of weeks in England for them.

But there are other teams that will be playing.

It's a total of seven games this game week.

As I mentioned, FA Cup weekend, we've got Man City involved, Chelsea involved, leads are involved as well as Southampton.

Obviously Southampton, hoping to be involved in the Premier League soon enough in the near future there, obviously in the championship at this present point in time.

But they sit in one of those coveted playoff positions.

So we'll see whether or not they can join us back in the Premier League.

Let's focus on the Premier League this week.

I'm not going to go into the FA Cup.

I think those games could go in so many different ways depending on what appetite the teams have.

I want to focus on the Premier League games this weekend because I think Game Week 34 arrives with a...

It's very different kind of tension but it's almost becoming a norm this late into the season because you can feel the tension in so many of the grounds of this present point in time across the board in the Premier League.

I don't think that tension is sharper anywhere else other than, you know, Tottenham Hotspur.

Maybe at Arsenal they could argue that the tension is as tight but that spurs once got to be the highest tension that you could have at any point in time in the season so far.

Wolves are officially relegated. Burnley are officially relegated.

Two clubs have already fallen through that trap door that heads to the championship.

And Tottenham, a club that began this season with European ambitions, I would assume they are now walking into the weekend where the pressure is not theoretical.

It's not mathematical. It's existential. Spurs are not safe. Spurs are not comfortable.

Spurs are not in control and that's either in the situation they find themselves in the league and also with their style of foot breath is present point in time.

And this weekend's fixtures across the league only amplify that type of tension reality in my opinion, that pressure that is coming in at different points for different teams in different ways.

You look at Sunderland and Nottingham Forest, they're going to be fighting for momentum this weekend, full of Manaston Villa, they're fighting for relevance, Liverpool versus Crystal Palace, both are fighting for a certain level of stability.

You have West Ham and Everton, I think both of them are fighting for some level of clarity, West Ham clarity on whether or not they're going to be in the Premier League, Everton clarity on whether or not they're going to be one of those teams that takes those coveted European spots.

Wolves and Tottenham though, they're fighting for survival and I mean specifically Tottenham, Wolves they're down Tottenham fighting for survival against the team at the bottom of the Premier League.

There's no other option than to win this game for Tottenham if they want to stay alive, if they want to keep their hooks alive, we'll see whether or not they can do that.

Even though Wolves this fate has been sealed, we'll see whether or not they have an appetite for this game.

I think Arsenal and Newcastle is a fascinating game, two teams that I think are fighting for belief.

And of course we have Monday night football, Man United versus Brentford.

I think Man United have put themselves in a very comfortable position and can pencil in Champions League football for next season for Brentford.

Obviously still trying to claw their way back into those European spots after having been there for quite a while and then going on this extended run of draws has meant that they've been dropped out of those European positions.

We're looking to direct themselves back up the Premier League title.

Well, there's not a weekend for narratives, I don't think, I think it's a weekend for consequences.

There's a lot that could shake up in the Premier League this at the back end of this weekend and I'm very keen to get straight into it.

Because we've got a Friday kickoff game, Sunderland versus Nottingham Forest.

In my opinion, there's that kind of match, that kind of shapes a season, not just mathematically, but I think emotionally.

You look at Sunderland, they're entering this game, they're sitting in 11th place in the league table at this present point in time.

46 points, which you say sitting in 11th and you almost have to mention the points because of how bunched up the league is at this point in time.

If I just say sitting in 11th place, it doesn't sound as impressive as if you were to say Sunderland are actually three points outside of a potential European spot.

Four points out of a definite European spot this season.

So again, four points isn't, it's doable.

I mean, the games are running out, but it's doable opposed to if I say they're sitting in 11th place.

So it depends, I guess you could, depending on what narrative you want to spin, you could either give league positions or you give points positions.

I think at this present point in time, points tallies are crucial, not necessarily league position, and then we'll see at the end of the season where those points leave you on the league table.

But as I mentioned, four Sunderland 46 points, they're on the cusp of challenging for those European spots or at least making a challenge for them.

They have a bit of inconsistency.

You look at their form, they've got three wins, but they've also got two draws.

I mean, two defeats in there, so it's either winning or losing for them.

Look at that.

As respectable as that looks on paper, I do think the actual performances when I watch Sunderland have been a little bit chaotic, a little bit inconsistent.

I do think that they're relying on moments rather than structure, but it's difficult to be super critical of Sunderland, especially with the phenomenal season they've had so far.

You wonder the mindset of the players where that is at this present point in time.

They had that shaky period when Afcon took over for them and they've been tried to recover ever since.

I think they're four, three loss against Astonville last week.

I think it exposed quite a bit of their defensive fragilities and I'm looking at that backline.

I'm thinking every time they're playing a team that's got really positive attack that's aggressive and attacks vertically, they seem to struggle with it.

So we'll see whether or not that's something they're going to be able to address as the season is getting to the end or if it's something that they're going to have to worry about next season.

You head into preseason knowing this is one of our issues and we try and address it heading into next season.

From nottingham Farros perspective, I think Loki there a team known wants to face right now.

Yes, they succeed in 16th place. Yes, they're in that conversation for the relegation battle.

But you look at the fact that they're one of the informed teams actually.

If I'm looking at the bottom half teams in the Premier League, they've not lost in their last five games.

I'm looking at the form table here and the form table places them fourth over the last six game weeks, two wins, three draws.

Obviously coming off the back of that four one demolition of Burnley last week, I don't think that's just a win. I think that's a statement.

That was a statement victory. You look at the fixture before that as well.

You're starting to get a picture of a team that is slowly gaining confidence because obviously they had that massive, massive result against Tottenham which had implications heading into the extended break that we saw.

They had that three no win against Nottingham Farros. I mean against Tottenham, that leads into that international break that we had.

They come out of that international break and they go and get that one one draw against Aston Villa again.

A team that is in those coveted champions league put spots. So I'm looking at that as a phenomenal result for them.

They back that up with the four one winning and Burnley despite going down in that game. So I think they're running hot at the moment.

I think they've got all of the confidence in the world and they will not be fearing Southampton despite the season Southampton have had this season.

I can see Nottingham Farros going to Southampton and causing them problems.

I mentioned the issues that Sunderland have when facing teams that are aggressively direct with their attacking approach.

I'm going to go Southampton turning between a one one draw or a two one Nottingham Farros win.

Because this podcast has been given the Albatross by executive producer Gardrigal to support Tottenham Hotspur for the run-in of this season.

On this podcast we pick a team that we are rooting for in the back end of the season.

Gardrigal picked Tottenham after an episode that we did where we pitched a couple of teams.

So I'm going to have to go with the one one draw here.

If I'm Tottenham I want as many teams close to the relegation zone as possible just in the more the merrier if I'm Tottenham so that I can at least try and catch one of you.

Nottingham Farros go and win this game then 39 points and 1 point away from that proverbial 40 point mark which leads us now on.

It would leave Tottenham and West Ham in my opinion.

So if anything Tottenham need them to lose they need Sunderland to step up in this game but whether or not Sunderland can do that I'm not too sure I'm going to go with the one one draw on that one.

Let's move on to our next game.

Fullham vs Aston Villa.

Fullham enter this game in 12th place. They've got 45 points.

They've had shaky form.

If there's a team that's been inconsistent this season it's got to be fullham.

You look at the fact that they've won 13 games but they've lost 14.

Which is mind blowing. They've only drawn six.

So I think that's been kind of hard for them is that they're either winning or losing.

Draws come very far into you between and you get a couple of draws in there.

Some return some of those losses into draws and you start climbing this table quite quickly.

Remember we've mentioned the gap between you can almost go down as far as Newcastle Crystal Palace who are on 42 and 43 points.

respectively.

That's only seven points behind 7th place Bournemouth.

It's really not that far away so it's quite bunched up there and we'll see whether or not.

Fullham can mount a consistent enough challenge to go and get one of these coveted spots.

I think their attackers dried up.

Their defensive structures become a bit passive and they're struggling to create high quality chances when you look at the data.

Especially against teams with strong midfield control.

Aston Villa on the other hand they're fighting for Europe.

They sit in fourth place in the table with 58 points.

They level with Manchester United at this present point in time.

In terms of points tally, gold difference man United clear them by a cool 7 goals.

I don't know if it's something to chase.

If you're Aston Villa in terms of trying to chase down that gold difference.

I think those two teams can probably pencil themselves in unless something horrific goes on both of those teams are in.

I think it's seeing whether or not Liverpool can close the door on the teams chasing them for that last place.

That's eligible for Champions League football next season.

You look at...

You obviously look at Aston Villa.

You look at the fact that they've had two wins, one draw and two losses in their last five games.

But again, maybe the inverse of the Sunderland inconsistencies in that the performances for Aston Villa I thought have shown a level of character.

I think they've got players that are trying to play themselves into those European starting lineups.

And I think it's having a positive effect on the team.

Obviously they had that 4-3 win against the aforementioned Sunderland last week.

It was a chaotic game, but it was also the kind of match where European teams go on and win.

Tired, stretched and they still end up finding a way.

Those are the teams that end up making Champions League.

Look at the form table. It's not pretty reading. They're in 13th place over the last six games.

I don't think that reflects the quality of their play.

I think Villa have been attacking with fluidity and I think their ability to create chances through their wide overloads

and late runs from midfields is going to be a factor in this game.

Fulham's defensive issues in transition make this a dangerous match up for them.

It's going to be interesting to see whether or not ambition or stagnation, trumps in this game.

Villa pushing obviously to secure that Champions League spot.

Fulham are drifting with that outside chance of getting into Europe

and drifting teams rarely win matches like that.

I'm going to go with a 2-0 Aston Villa win.

I just think Fulham's attack has dried up a little bit and Aston Villa going to be able to keep them at arms length and go on and win that game 2-0,

which on paper looks quite comfortable.

Liverpool is our next game. They will be hosting Crystal Palace.

Liverpool currently sitting in that last Champions League spot in 5th place.

They've got 55 points.

Mixed form, two wins, one draw and two losses in their last five games.

On the form table, they're right there.

Hit Aston Villa because they sit in 12th overall in the last six games.

Obviously, their season has been defined by inconsistency.

One week, they look brilliant. The next week, they look flat.

You look at the win last week over Everton.

It was a necessity, especially for their hopes about getting Champions League football next season.

Especially off the back of their Champions League defeat to PSG,

where I don't think they laid much of a glove on PSG.

If anything, PSG could have gone to another gear if they needed to

and they never needed to because Liverpool never got that goal.

That would have forced PSG to try and go up another gear.

Game state is important.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, I think they're one of the more quietly impressive teams in the league.

Yes, they sit in 13th place with 43 points.

But I'm looking at their form in recent weeks. It's looking decent.

They've not lost in their last four games and they're sitting in 8th place over the last six games on the form table.

They had that no, no draw against West Ham on Monday.

It wasn't glamorous, but I thought it was quite disciplined.

I thought they showed organization and a reflection of a team that knows exactly what it is.

That's what I'm seeing from them, despite the uncertainty and turmoil regarding the managerial position there.

I've stayed quite united and it's been impressive to see in my opinion.

Usually we can see teams collapse when there are issues or there's a stance that the manager takes.

I'm leaving at the end of the season or I'm not renewing my contract or any of those type of things.

We can see revolts happen. That's not been the case for them in the large spots.

So that's definitely impressive.

You look at their defensive structure.

I think it's been excellent.

Then you look at the fact that they have this ability to frustrate opponents.

And that's been a major factor in their results in recent weeks.

Liverpool.

Yes, they're a different challenge.

It's at Anfield. That used to mean something.

Not too long ago.

They've got European qualification on the line.

Liverpool tend to find a level of intensity that mid table team struggle to match at times.

When Liverpool are hot, they're hot, but what version of Liverpool are going to see in this game?

We'll see. Liverpool will have majority of the ball.

It's whether or not that control can match the resistance they're going to get from Crystal Palace.

Liverpool need to impose themselves early in this game, but they need to have a bigger intention of creating attacking opportunities.

Don't just keep possession for the sake of keeping positions.

There needs to be some intent to their play.

I think Palace need to survive the first 30 minutes.

If they can do that, it's going to become a bit hairy for Liverpool.

It could become quite uncomfortable for Liverpool.

But if Liverpool score first, the match could tilt very, very quickly.

And I think it's important to know that Liverpool have not done well against Crystal Palace so far this season.

So we'll see whether or not Palace can pull off another victory over Liverpool this season.

I'm going to go again with the one-one draw.

Liverpool have not been clinical.

They've not been creating enough chances for me to give them more than a goal against Stubborn Crystal Palace side.

Also, when you realise that they've struggled to beat Crystal Palace this season, Liverpool are going to have to earn it.

They're definitely going to have to earn it.

Alright, we are back. We are discussing Game Week 34 in the English Premier League.

Just talked about Liverpool versus Crystal Palace.

Both teams are sure we'll be upset with the fact that I've predicted a one-one draw in that game.

But let's move on to West Ham versus Everton.

West Ham, sit in 17th place.

33 points on the table.

Two points ahead of relegation-positioned.

Tottenham at this present point in time.

I think that this season has been defined by inconsistency as has many of the teams

this season.

They've got two wins, two draws and one loss in the last five games.

You're looking at the form table.

That places them in seventh over the last six games, which is a good uplift.

That will not draw against Crystal Palace on Monday.

I'm sure it would have been frustrating for them.

But I think it also showed defensive improvement and tactical discipline,

which is something they struggled with earlier on in the season.

And I think the appointment of Nuno couldn't have come soon enough.

If only they had had them for the entire season.

I don't think they would be in this situation that they find themselves in now.

Everton, on the other hand, they're in ninth place.

46 points.

They had a chance to close the gap on Liverpool this past weekend.

When they played Liverpool.

Unfortunately for them, they got little brother yet again by Liverpool.

A late goal for Liverpool.

That one to go and seal the victory.

Their form is erratic, especially at home.

Fortunately for them, this is a game that's away from home.

Their away form has them in a Champions League position.

If we were just ranking the league table based on away form,

Everton would be in the Champions League.

So they'll fancy themselves to go to West Ham and get a result there.

They've got two wins and three losses in the last five games.

And that would put them in ninth in the form table.

I thought they were competitive against Liverpool.

They got to all of the second balls.

But I think it also highlighted the lack of cutting edge.

If you go and watch that game again,

go and look at the amount of runs Beton makes when the ball is out wide.

And the amount of times the ball never gets delivered.

And I'm sitting there thinking,

you guys train with this guy every single day.

You know the type of balls he wants into the box.

You know when he prefers the ball to come into the box.

It looked like there are two different mindsets going into this one.

Beton knew he had to make early movements.

And if the ball came in early when he was making those movements,

he was always going to be in space.

And he showed that time and time again.

Whereas the Everton wide players were slowing things down

and waiting for their opportunity to cross.

And I'm thinking you've just blown the chance for him to go and get a goal.

And I guess fortunately for me as Liverpool fan, great.

You can blow that chance as many times as you want.

But if I'm better, I'm really frustrated with that game.

I'm frustrated with my teammates.

I'm having a sit down with them and saying, guys,

we've got to watch this tape and you've got to recognize

when I'm open, how I like the ball, when I like the ball.

And if they can resolve that, I think they're going to be

a dangerous team heading towards the end of the season.

They've done phenomenally well to be in with a shot

for European football this season, especially in recent seasons,

the financial issues they've had, those are bled onto the pitch

and it's been tough going for them.

They could end, you know, a tumultuous time in their life

as a football club with a great turnaround.

You know, come back story, David Moise coming back,

gets them back in Europe, what a great story that would be.

I think Everton going win this game.

I'm backing their away form.

I'm going to go with the 2-1 Everton win on this one.

Let's move on to Wolves vs Tottenham.

What again, this is going to be.

I think this match has changed dramatically

because obviously Wolves have officially been relegated.

Their fate has sealed.

Their season is over in competitive terms.

But that doesn't make the match meaningless.

I think it makes it even more dangerous.

Religated teams often play with this freedom that is inexplicable

that people end up wondering why didn't they play like this the whole time.

Teams under pressure can't play like that.

And Spurs are arguably the team under the most pressure

in the Premier League at this point in time.

I'm looking at Wolves.

I'm looking at the fact they've got one win in their last five games.

Seventeenth overall in the form table.

The defensive record is the worst in the league

and their attack has been inconsistent all season.

But now with that pressure gone, Wolves can play without fear.

They can play with that expectation.

They can play with our consequences.

I'm curious to see what version of Wolves come up against a novy Tottenham side

because Tottenham, they're living an opposite reality.

They're sitting in 18th place with 31 points.

As I mentioned, two points behind West Ham.

Their form is equally concerning.

They haven't won a game in 2026.

They sit in 19th place in the form table.

Obviously they had the two to draw against Brighton last week,

where they had one hand on the victory

and they end up going and losing it late on.

I believe it was two episodes ago.

I had a little bit of a rant on Tottenham and the mentality of the players.

And the lack of composure that they showed when they did score that second goal.

And I prefaced it by saying, I know it was an emotional goal for them to score against Brighton,

to take the lead when it was the last time Tottenham were leading a game.

But there were a few issues that I had with that level of celebration.

One, you hadn't won the game yet.

Two, Javis Mons was more worried about crowning himself than rallying the team

to go and just go and seal the victory.

And there's a lot of individualism in this Tottenham team at this present point in time.

I think that has been one of the issues that they have faced.

And one of the reasons why they've not performed to the levels that you would expect

when you look at them, you know, the quality of players that they do have.

Obviously injuries have played a huge factor in their season.

Tottenham's inability to convert chances and maintain structure makes this match unpredictable.

Spurs have more talent.

I think that's indisputable.

Wolves, though, have the freedom.

And freedom also wins these matches, which terrifies me because Tottenham can not afford

to get anything less than three points of this game.

Yes, it's away from home, but gone is the grace period.

We've played 33 games this season.

You've got five games left to save your status as a Premier League club.

You've got to roll your sleeves up and you've got to go and get a win at Wolves.

There's no excuses.

I don't care how you get that victory.

You've got to go and get that victory.

It puts pressure on the teams above you.

You hope that results go your way.

If a West Ham fails to win that game, you go above them.

If a Nottingham Forest failed to win their game, you then are not only two points behind them.

Again, it's imperative that Tottenham go and win this game.

I'm going to go with the Tottenham win.

I'm going to go with a very nervy two-one Tottenham win.

Hopefully they can hold on this time around unlike what happened in that game against Brighton.

Right.

We've got two more games in the English Premier League to discuss.

As I mentioned, only seven games this week because of the teams involved in the FA Cup.

Arsenal versus Newcastle Arsenal have a chance to land a psychological blow against Manchester City.

Manchester City do not play in the Premier League this season.

And Man City have just gone top of the Premier League this past midweek.

Obviously they had the one no win against Burnley.

That secured them top spot in the Premier League for the start of this weekend.

Arsenal will be determined to make sure they don't end this weekend.

Top of the Premier League table.

I'm looking at this match.

I'm looking at Arsenal's position.

I'm looking at the fact that Arsenal have lost those two games in a row in the league.

You look at the Caraba Cup loss as well.

That's three games that they've lost in England in recent weeks.

They're level on points with Man City.

They got to show some level of composure.

This team is crumbling before our eyes and I don't understand why they can't fake it until they make it.

I'm curious.

You know, we obviously saw the viral video of Declan Rice just being defiant and basically saying it's not over.

It's not. It really is not.

I'm looking ahead.

In two games time, Man City played Bournemouth.

We see the form of Bournemouth at this present point in time.

That's going to be a difficult game for Manchester City.

If Arsenal can hold on, if they can win the next two games and just keep that pressure on Man City for the Bournemouth game,

I think psychologically, that's where Arsenal can, you know, get back to being above Man City and having a buffer as well.

We'll see whether or not that transpires.

Obviously from an Arsenal perspective,

that last last weekend had to be a punch in the face, a proper psychological blow.

That was another reminder that Arsenal still chasing City.

They've not overtaken them whereas a lot of the belief months ago,

not too many months ago, Arsenal fans would have felt that they have overtaken Man City.

They've overtaken everyone and that's why they were in first place in the league.

But league table doesn't lie.

City are back. City look confident. City feel like they've got Arsenal rattled.

It's for Arsenal to respond.

Which leaves Newcastle, the other team that is on the other side of this fixture,

sitting in 14th place with 42 points, very poor form.

They've had two wins and three losses in the last five games.

You look at the form table that puts them in 14th place if I'm not mistaken.

That two one lost to Bournemouth last week.

I thought it absolutely lit the fire under Eddie Howe's seat.

Newcastle defensive structure, I think, has been inconsistent.

I think it's been vulnerable.

I want to see a level of identity from both of these teams actually.

I was going to say from Eddie Howe, but from our data as well.

Neither of these teams are playing with any level of freedom.

They play with such fear of losing that it restricts the players of having a soul, it feels like.

I don't know which of these two teams takes the emphasis.

I'm assuming Arsenal is the home team.

They will want to go and make a statement in this game.

You go and blow Newcastle out of the water in this game and it changes the narrative for you.

And remember, the beauty of this game is Newcastle on paper, I still don't Newcastle.

A lot of people will still see this team as a dangerous team, despite the fact that they've been pretty poor this season.

People will see Newcastle and they'll automatically assume that that's going to be a tough game for Arsenal.

If Arsenal can go and beat them by a couple of goals, on paper they should go and beat Newcastle by a couple of goals based on league position,

based on their approaches to the games this season by both of these teams.

Arsenal should be able to take care of business against Newcastle, even if it's away from home, but especially when it's at home as it is in this game.

Go and do that and the narrative will change.

The problem is they've had those losses in England in recent weeks.

We don't know how confident Arsenal side is going to pitch up for this one.

But again, hopefully for them the good thing is Newcastle are coming into this game with even less confidence.

And with a cloud hanging over the manager's head at this present point in time.

Arsenal needs to respond to that etihad just to feed.

I think it has to be an authoritative response.

Newcastle on the other hand, they need to show that they have not lost belief in anyhow.

I'm looking at it, I'm thinking Arsenal have the quality, Arsenal have the structure.

I think Arsenal will have the motivation where it's Newcastle.

A lot of it is just they're facing a lot of pressure.

This is the kind of match where Arsenal must win if they want to stay in the title rest.

There's no excuses. I think Arsenal do go in with this game.

I think the narrative change is slightly for them.

After winning this game, I'm going to go with the 2-0 Arsenal win.

And as I said, Newcastle, this is justified based on what Newcastle have done so far this season.

But not everyone's going to see it that way.

They're just going to see the name Newcastle and see that Arsenal beat them by double-dip.

But more than one goal.

And that can propel them back on to the rails because they've been off the rails in recent weeks.

So hopefully for Arsenal fans, that is some solace if they're able to win against Newcastle at home.

Let's move on to our last fixture of this game week.

It's Man United vs. Brainford.

Man United is sitting third in the league table with 58 points.

And they're formed. Yes, it's mixed at this prison point in time.

But that run they went on in recent weeks allowed them to be in this comfortable position

of being in third place, having 58 points,

pretty much having one foot inside the door of Champions League football for next season.

I'm looking at Brainford.

Five draws in there.

There's five matches for them.

That puts them 15th in the form table right over the last six game.

The thing though is Brainford are very tough to beat.

They're also struggling to win, which is where these draws are coming from.

But they're one of the most well-coached, well-drilled teams in the Premier League

and you have to give them credit for that.

They're not going to give up silly goals.

You're going to have to go and actively beat them.

I think Man United have shown flashes of that this season,

whether or not they can execute it to the level required against Brainford.

Time will tell.

I'm going to lean, I'm going to go for a 2-2 draw in this game.

I think United are going to go for it.

And that's going to leave space in behind for Brainford to exploit.

I think it's a 2-2 draw.

It's a frustrating game for both teams from that perspective.

But I think it leaves, you know, match day 34 with quite a bit of clarity.

And that clarity comes at the bottom of the table.

You look at wolves and Burnley they're gone.

But then that clarity only increases the pressure on everybody else.

Tottenham and I'll start staring at relegation battle that is no longer hypothetical.

And it's not been for a couple of weeks now.

West I'm trying to avoid being dragged into it by Tottenham.

Nottingham Forester trying to climb out of it.

They are doing a damn good job of it.

I think every other match, though, this week,

can carry some level of consequence that will echo into the final weeks of the season.

Sunderland and Forester fighting for momentum.

Fullman Villa are fighting for direction.

Liverpool and Palace fighting for a level of stability.

West Ham and Everton are fighting for control.

Wolves and Tottenham specifically Tottenham are fighting for pride.

Wolves could be fighting for pride.

Tottenham are fighting for survival.

And one of those is going to come out trumps.

Arsenal versus Newcastle.

This is a battle of belief.

Two teams that are lacking confidence at this point in time.

Two teams that are victory against either of these teams.

If Newcastle beat Arsenal, imagine what it could do for their momentum.

Arsenal beats Newcastle.

Imagine what it could do for the narrative change of the confidence that will bring in the team.

Then on Monday night,

Man United versus Brentford teams that are fighting for clarity.

Man United clarity in the confirmation of their making champions league for next season.

Brentford clarity in the confirmation of what they're doing is right long term.

They've got a lot of draws.

They've been kicked out of those European positions.

You beat a man United.

You're probably climbing the league table this weekend because we've seen how inconsistent teams have been.

They would certainly be climbing over Chelsea who don't play this weekend.

And that will be music to their ears.

They would also be looking at the fact that, you know, this weekend born with a not play.

So you go and you take care of business if you're Brentford.

They answered Tough Man United team.

Not only do you climb Chelsea, you climb over Bournemouth.

And then you're thinking to yourself, well, I'm on 48 points.

I look further at the table.

Brighton are on 50 points.

Hang on. Brighton on playing either this weekend.

I can leapfrog them as well.

So yes, they'll have a game in hand on me.

But psychologically, I've got the points in the bag already.

This is an opportunity for Brentford to really course correct.

After a strong season, a wild coach season, wild discipline season,

I would hate for them to miss out this late into the season on Champions.

Oh, on European football.

I think they do.

They've done enough so far to be in the conversation.

And I'm hoping that they can then go on and execute that in terms of school line.

For that Man United Brentford game, I mentioned the two to draw.

So I don't know how much it helps Brentford from that perspective.

Yes, it's a point.

Points are a premium this season, but I'm sure they'll be hoping for a lot more than that.
